After using the auto dealers guide for years, I changed to their "Firstcheck" due to the exorbitant cost of the digest. Now Firstcheck has been off line for " System Upgrades " for two weeks. It's impossible to contact these people by phone or their website.

I subscribed to their electronic auto dealers guide that cost in the order of R8000. It is one of the worst companies I came across in a long time. Clauses in their contract are conflicting. You have to enter and sign specifically for codes in the contract that has no meaning to the subscriber. It takes ages to subscribe. They should let a proper lawyer read through their ambiguous contract before using it for clients. When you log in to their website to get a car value it is just loading…and loading…and loading; and is actually useless. What is wrong with their servers? A book to look up car values is much quicker than their electronic guide. I was wondering why most car dealers in SA rather use dealersonline.co.za, but now I know it. What is wrong with their management? Are they retired or not interested. What is going on?
