Firstly, as travellers, we expected airport transfers according to the itinerary and poster. Unfortunately, despite attempts to reach out via calls and messages, we didn’t receive any response. When we arrived at the airport, no transport was arranged, and we were asked to wait. We waited 4 hours before arranging our own transport and would appreciate a refund of R600 to cover these expenses.
Secondly, upon arriving at Urban Guest House, the accommodation we shared, the manager confirmed that no deposit or payment had been received on our behalf. This meant we couldn’t check in right away and had to wait an extra two hours at reception, which caused quite a bit of inconvenience. Although our booking was confirmed, it appears no pre-payment was made, indicating some planning issues.
Regarding the activities, we didn’t receive clear communication. We kept checking with the host for updates, but he mentioned he had no new information and was still waiting for payment from you. We were told all activities had been booked and were ready to go, yet the 4x4 dunes activity provider later confirmed that only an enquiry was made on the day we planned to participate.
Additionally, all accommodations were paid upon check-in, as no prepayments had been arranged. We also noticed that we stayed at guesthouses instead of the hotel listed in the itinerary.
