It is with great sadness to see that mothers out there are robbed but yet waking up every morning to go to work but the money they surviving with is not descent.
My mother worked for “Tsebo” 10 years and her service money is only R1095.07. Her last month was August 2018 and now February 2019 she keeps following up but no direction or feedback is given.
We have had in the past bad service whereby she didn’t receive payslips on time and when I follow up as her daughter via e-mail the only thing they hide behind their incompetence is, “we don’t give any kind of info to someone that’s not an employee of US”, it’s not like they can even give info to there own employees. After my mother had completed 10years working with them she has been following up for months now and all she got was the run arounds. The last time she called in Feb 2019 a lady called, “Santie Greyling”, (Operations Manager, Tsebo Cleaning Solutions), advised my mother to tell her daughter, me, to send her an email of my mothers payslip, what happened to the “non-employee” rule of not giving out info, now they want me to be the middle man. I sent my mother pay-slip with e-mail on the 14 Feb 2019, which reads as, “Hi, As per request I have attached my mothers payslip (Anna Mathibe). I trust all will be in order as we have never received any proper service or relevant info on time from Tsebo Cleaning, there’s also no sense of urgency to any matter that has ever been brought fought. Regards, Otlotleng”
I didn’t receive any response and I sent another e-mail to the same lady, “Santie Greyling”, (Operations Manager, Tsebo Cleaning Solutions) on the 21st Feb 2019, which reads as, “Hi, I havent heard anything from you since my mothers (Anna Mathibe) payslip has been sent to you, not even acknowledgement of receipt. I don’t know if this is service that is rendered to all or if this only for my mother. If you are interested, please provide us with feedback or a way forward. Regards, Otlotleng”
The woman “Santie Greyling”, (Operations Manager, Tsebo Cleaning Solutions) responded the next day which is today, her response was: “Good evening, Firstly, your mother did not report to me. When she called me, I offered to help her. I do not appreciate the tone of your e-mails. I am not office bound and have forwarded the enquiry to our HR Department. Please forward me your mother's cel number and then I will give her the outcome tomorrow after I have confirmed action from Head Office. Alternatively she is very welcome to call me at 10h00 tomorrow as I will have final feedback then. Thank you Santie Greyling”
I won’t entertain what she likes or not she should do her job and that’s not how you give feedback, after being called by my mother and now being sent e-mails without acknowledgment. She thinks doing her job is doing my mother and I a favor.
Moving on... I had to correct all of this because incompetent people don’t get to play like hero’s after so many months of my mother not working for them, I responded by saying the below: “Hi, She doesn’t need to report to you, she doesn’t even need to know who she’s reporting to for things to be done right. If sense of urgency was there, you werent going have a daughter following up on her mothers payslips and funds on numerous accounts. Cellphone number: (072)####### Regards, Otlotleng”
I got another e-mail from, “Tseliso David Mohotsi” (National IR Manager), which is below: “Good Morning Otlotleng One more time WE do not give out personal information to non-employees , please give Santie your mother’s contact details so that she can assist. Your approach is abrasive and maybe this is why you do not get assistance. Regards Tseliso Mohotsi National IR Manager”
This is confirmation of incompetence and not seeing anything wrong with it. You don’t reply to someone following up on behalf of an employee because the company can’t communicate and tell the employee false reasons. As to why we not getting any assistance especially as a so called,“National IR Manager” I am shocked and the reasoning capacity is unprofessional.
I replied without any remorse, this is my mother that they can’t give relevant feedback too and didn’t even pay her right for 10 years.
My response: “Hi Tseliso, You very good with just sending e-mails but not assisting. You should also know my mothers details as she’s an employee there! You mentioning why we don’t get assistance is about your incompetence nothing to do with approach. Regards, Otlotleng”
His “Tseliso David Mohotsi” (National IR Manager) response below: “With 15 000 employees it will be difficult.”
My response to “Tseliso David Mohotsi” (National IR Manager)is below: “That’s difficult for you of course and am not surprised. My mothers contact details have been sent to Santie to offload you’ll seeing that you can’t handle the number of employees the company has.”
An e-mail was sent out from, “Santie Greyling”, (Operations Manager, Tsebo Cleaning Solutions) to “Tseliso David Mohotsi” (National IR Manager) as per below: Good morning Tseliso, Please see e-mail from Anna Mathibe’s daughter that is actually not working for Tsebo Cleaning. I will not respond to any correspondence with immediate effect if it is not coming directly from Anna that actually did work for Tsebo Cleaning. Cell number is included, I will give her direct feedback. Kind regards Santie Greyling Operations Manager, Tsebo Cleaning Solutions”
Now it suited her to say I don’t work for “Tsebo”. She “Santie Greyling”, (Operations Manager, Tsebo Cleaning Solutions) should’ve known that before advising my mother to ask me to send her my mothers payslips. Even if she had known I was going to send and ask there’s nothing wrong with asking the right questions the problem is when it’s the wrong people you are asking, not fit to answer with queries within their capacity.
Another e-mail was sent from “Tseliso David Mohotsi” (National IR Manager) as per below, to “Andronica Mogashoa”. “Hi Andro Can you see what is missing from the mother?? Regards Tseliso Mohotsi National IR Manager”
He, “Tseliso David Mohotsi” (National IR Manager), doesn’t mention my mothers name and mentions her as “the mother”. He has just defined the word, “abrasive” that he has used on one of his emails by acting it out! He, “Tseliso David Mohotsi” (National IR Manager), must respect the employees and be professional.
“Andronica Mogashoa” didn’t not reply but instead, “Santie Greyling”, (Operations Manager, Tsebo Cleaning Solutions) replied as per below: “Good morning, She was 10 years in service last year August. It is sorted and will be paid month end. I have already called Anna and told her as well. I asked her if R 1095.07 is not paid into her bank account by 8 March, she must please call me again. As per payroll it is authorised for payment. Kind regards Santie Greyling Operations Manager, Tsebo Cleaning Solutions”
All this info has could’ve provided when the first e-mail was sent to her “Santie Greyling”, (Operations Manager, Tsebo Cleaning Solutions).
Response from “Tseliso David Mohotsi” (National IR Manager) to “Santie Greyling”, (Operations Manager, Tsebo Cleaning Solutions). “Good Morning Santie Thank You.”
My final response directed to them all. “Am glad I won’t be hearing for you’ll as well with IMMEDIATE EFFECT, there’s nothing pleasant that a person can expect. Not knowing how to assist your stuff members because of incompetence leads to their families following up.”
Poor service, lack of professionalism and unsuppressed failure to fulfill daily tasks leading to incompetence.
