The Medical Bureau for Occupational Diseases and Compensation Commissioner for Occupational Disease assessed my case for Tuberculosis and found that it was valid. The Compensation Commissioner for Occupational Diseases awarded me compensation for Tuberculosis on 04 August 2023. Tshiamiso Trust Medical Certification Panel assessed my case (AP115826055) and came to the conclusion that the Tuberculosis is not compensable.
Tshiamiso Trust was asked to provide written reasons as to: 1. Why Tshiamiso Trust Medical Certification Panel after assessing the medical evidence and found myself as medically ineligible to claim from the Tshiamiso Trust for Tuberculosis. 2. Why did the Tshiamiso Trust Medical Certification Panel come to a different conclusion for my case from that of the Medical Bureau for Occupational Diseases and the Compensation Commissioner for Occupational Diseases. 3. How can the Tshiamiso Trust Medical Certification Panel prove that the Tuberculosis I contracted is absolutely in no way attributed to risk work.
Tshiamiso Trust failed to provide feedback on the queries. Furthermore, the Medical Reviewing Authority failed to provide clarification on the queries and dismissed the dispute with no further recourse.
