This has been a real experience I must say. I order my canopy through a sales agent, Treehaus. In there advert it says, you'll have your canopy in 6 weeks. That never happened and as soon as I started asking questions, nobody answered me. I had communication lines between Tusk and Treehaus and the communication from both was up to S...! The boss of Tusk phoned me, explained the delay. Shortage of steel due to strike and a new sms system to help with communication that's not lekker. He did how ever said, the wait will be worth while.
I have my canopy for a week now and since they fitted it I really put it to the test. After fitment I went to work, site based. On site it was lekker dusty and it was windy. Treehaus did say to me that the canopies is dust and water tight. The pass weekend I washed my bakkie and to my amazement when I opened the canopy, not a single spec of dust or a drop of water inside the load bin. It was truly dust and water tight.
The day of fitment, I have spoken to Chris about the whole manufacturing process. Everything doesn't happen at Tusk. There is a couple of phases the canopies go through until it's back at Tusk. Bending, colour matching doesn't happen at Tusk.
If any potential buyers is reading this review, please ensure you allow enough time for completion so that you also don't get frustrated like many others.
The rating a 3 stars on top is and overall rating, I'll expIain: I rate the canopy 5 stars. It fits like a glove, the colour matching is out of this world. The lack of or poor communication I rate 2 stars. Between Tusk and Treehaus, extremely bad.
5 - 2 = 3
I've read all the reviews on this page and I must say, some is good and some is bad and mostly due to lack of or no communication. So, just a piece of advise. Sharpen up the communication, you'll see a improvement.
