Bought an Android TV Box. The DSTV shortcut did not work however the app managed to load from the Settings/Apps menu once. Thereafter it did not load again. It keeps going in a loop to Update the App.
I tried logging a request with the Support function on their website which then also goes in to a loop. I get to the end of the submission form, click on "I'm not a Robot", select relevant images, submit request, get "Sending" but then reverts back to "I'm not a Robot".
Then I tried calling the number listed on their website but the call does not connect. We do sometimes struggle to connect calls where I live and thought initially that was the case. However, i made 3 calls to other places for pricing I need on something not related and realised this is not the case. I tried contacting the number again 8 times in total over a period of an hour and no luck. I did some test calls to make sure I have connectivity.
I also emailed them on Friday to try get some response with assistance and it is Tuesday today. No response.
Besides the failing apps, the product itself is not as advertised. The resolution of the output is 4k but the picture quality is 720p or lower. This tested side by side with a 2k device, the 2k device far outperforms the 4K TV UL AGB.
I can live with my poor choice of purchase without research but I can not live with the fact that the company, if still existing, offer no support for their products whatsoever at all.
