Terrible service, terrible advice.

Terrible service, terrible advice. Spend 4K with them to recondition my garage door motor, only to have my motor stop working altogether 4 months later. Tried to get them to fix my motor again (possibly 17 calls later) as the original fix was still under guarantee (6 months). Then on them arriving on site again, I was advised I needed to change my springs for another 3K. This didn't sound right. I got another opinion from an independent installer (how I wished I contacted him from the start). He looked at the door and undoubtedly confirmed there was nothing wrong with my springs and basically, my motor's batteries were flat. He ordered new batteries and my door is operating as if new. I've requested a refund on some of my original money spent with Universal. I was told they would discuss this internally and get back to me. Its been a month and am still waiting. I will never use or recommend them EVER again.
