Took Deposit Money, Did Nothing – Dilan Abrams Urban Timber - ***** Exposed

We hired Dilan Abrams from Urban Timber (https://urbantimber.co.za/ | admin@urbantimber.co.za) for urgent maintenance at Ferndale Villas between July and September 2025. Jobs included fixing leaking taps, pipes, a toilet in Unit 28, and external work. Paid him R6,185. He delivered NOTHING useful.

Toilet repair – R1,185 Unit 28 repairs – R3,000 Pipe leak & artificial grass – R2,000

After many delays, he finally attempted the toilet repair — it failed completely, wasting time and resources and causing further damage. No other work was done.

Invoices and proof of payment are available. We’ve reported this to SAPS for suspected ***** and are warning others:

Do NOT hire Urban Timber or Dilan Abrams.
