We had a booking at V8 Roadhouse for Sunday 28 December. When we arrived our table was not ready yet. Our waiter did not had a name tag on or introduced himself to us. His service was not good at all, waiting for our drinks etc. When we had to pay we still have him a good tip. We split the bill in 3, we each had to pay R735.00, when my fiance had to pay he had to split our amount over 2 cards R500.00 from one and R235.00 on the other. The R500.00 no trouble, then my fiance said to him R235.00 from this card, he repeated the amount to my fiance. The evening when we got home we saw that he charged us R375.00 and not R235.00 a whole R170.00 more. I've contacted them immediately and they were friendly till we asked for our money back. Now they don't reply on our emails. I had a eishbeine that was as hard as a pease of wood and tasteless, the waiter never came to asked if everything is to our taste otherwise would have send it back to the kitchen. We will never return V8. Toilets overflowing, service bad. Very unhappy. Before you go there think twice.

Me and My friend we went to V8 Roadhouse in Hartbee****rtdam yesterday on New Year's Day and we did expect that it will get busy. Firstly we got there and waited for an available table for about 45 minutes and when we finally got a table it was in the sun but we didn't mind. We sat at the table for more than an hour with on one even noticing us, and they finally gave us menus and we sat wanting to order but the was just no one to assist us and they were busy taking customers in but no service at all. The manager came and he said he was gonna take our drink order then sent a waiter to assist, we waited for another 20 minutes, now it's like 2 hours we have being there with nothing happening and we just decided to leave with no one even noticing that we actually angry and we leaving. This was just the baddest service ever.

We sat at the table for more than an hour with on one even noticing us, and they finally gave us menus and we sat wanting to order but the was just no one to assist us and they were busy taking customers in but no service at all. The manager came and he said he was gonna take our drink order then sent a waiter to assist, we waited for another 20 minutes, now it's like 2 hours we have being there with nothing happening and we just decided to leave with no one even noticing that we actually angry and we leaving. This was just the baddest service ever.

We recently visited V8 as a family, and the girls decided to order a fishbowl ****tail. Excitedly, we all drank almost two bowls when my brother-in-law tasted the ****tail and realized there was glass inside our drinks. We had been completely oblivious, assuming it was crystallized sugar, which is why we didn’t mention it earlier. He bit into it and immediately recognized it was glass, not sugar. We called our waiter, who insisted it was sugar, but when another waiter came over, he confirmed it looked like glass and said he’d call the manager. The manager eventually came, replaced our drinks, and casually claimed it was plastic, not glass. They were too busy to fully analyze the problem, brushed us off, and continued flirting with other waiters. We weren’t given any further explanation or contact details, and were left with the worrying thought that we may have ingested glass. Despite remaining calm and even expressing that we understood accidents happen, the lack of professionalism was very disappointing. We paid our bill and left, but no one came to check on us or follow up. It’s concerning that we were told to "contact them if we feel pain." This experience left us feeling very disappointed with the lack of care for our health and safety. I wouldn't recommend this place, as it seems they don’t prioritize their customers' well-being.
