The state of the Aloe verde spa facility left me cringing as the house is in desperate need of an upgrade, maintenance and a serious deep clean. No consultation forms were used which is very unprofessional. The overall hygiene of this spa was very concerning. The bathroom was dirty with broken facilities and a dirty hand towel. The treatment room had a broken sink, with the tap held together by a bandage. The beds did not fit inside the room resulting in the the****** squeezing and stumbling between the wall and either my head or feet throughout the treatment. The towel I was given to cover myself with was musty and oily. The other towels were dirty/stained and very old and tatty. Halfway through the facial the the****** told me she was leaving the mask on for 15 min. She left the room during this time. No one wants to lie there unattended staring at badly painted walls and listening to the same song on repeat. Thus attention to the overall flow of a treatment must be reconsidered. Throughout the treatment I could also hear people talking very loud, dogs constantly barking and at one point a **** eater going. This does not make for a relaxing time. The treatment room I was in has a large clear window that looks over the top of the entrance hall. Getting undressed in front of this is very disconcerting as people walking past can see into the room at certain angles. The only positive I can point out was that the the****** (Memory) was polite and carried out the massage fairly well. However, the rest of the experience overshadowed any enjoyment from the treatment. What a pity the rest of venue does not meet the standard one would expect from a spa. The hotel should be extremely concerned with being directly associated with this facility. I will NEVER go back nor recommend it to anyone.
