Had my T3 Fastback restored front to back by Vdubtech costing my R95k and had a very bad experience: 1. Engine fully rebuilt but had low oil pressure; when I raised this they claimed it must be the sender unit; repalced it and no improvement. Took the car to EMC Motors and found that the crank case was not line bored, the wrong oil pressure springs were used, the crank seal was badly installed, and they had used pistons and barrels that were not 1600. Had to have the engine redone for another R30k 2. Body resprayed; wrong colour used for the model and within 3 years all the rust and rot had returned. Had to respray the vehicle and repair the rust costing me another R35k 3. Original Bilstein jack ****** while at their workshop; they claimed it was never there. Also the original sun visors were never reinstalled. Cost be R3500 to buy new ones and a new jack. 4. Carbs were "rebuilt" but were so badly done that they leaked fuel through the bushes and I had to do them over again and import proper carb kits (R2800). Bear in mind the car went back at least once because of misfiring and fuel flooding 5. When the vehicle was returned for the misfire they damaged the paint on the passenger side door and I had to have that repaired at a cost of R2500 I will never recommend, nor use them again...and suggest that - if you want to have a vehicle properly restored - you steer clear of Vdubtech!

Extremely poor quality electrical work on a very expensive VW Split Bus rebuild project. They fitted second-hand equipment and used the wiring loom that was part of the initial wreck. Snag list items detailed in an e-mail not addressed. Use them for electrical work at your own peril.

These people overcharge and is doing very poor handwork. I had to redo everything and more that they have done to my VW. For R9232 they got from me, it is a shame that these people can do any business. Please be warned NOT to use them as they are dishonest and promise things they will not or can not deliver.

V dub in Primrose, Germiston, Johannesburg. They advertise they work only on vw engines, but is not worth it to leave your car there. It gets parked in a corner and then more important people gets help. Very disappointing.
