Velociti ontacted me to upgrade my contract through MTN Direct in February 2016. I was told that the new phone would be delivered in 10 working days. Come March, the phone had not come, although MTN had begun charging me on the new rates.

Called Velociti numerous times until finally they answered. The agent told me that they had called me to confirm delivery - this was a lie as I had not recieved any calls from unknown numbers at the time she had specified. She then said they would deliver within a week.

A week came and went but no phone had arrived.

In April, having paid fees for two months, I finally managed to get hold of them (as they seem to ignore calls more than they answer them) to cancel the delivery through them.

However, when I went into my MTN store to get a phone directly, they told me that Velociti had not cancelled the delivery and this needs to be done directly through them!

Last week, on 20 May 2016, I finally got through to Velociti again, and the lady said that their systems were slow and she would call me back in 15 minutes - which she never did.

Velociti seem to have taken many people on a similar ride, and MTN need to be doing something since they are the service provider. However it seems that both companies are content passing the buck back and forth between them, sadly at the expense of the customer.
