Being my birthday, my wife took me out for dinner. We had been to Verdicchios before and really enjoyed it. This time however was far from that.
The food was great as always and the dessert was delicious. The staff however.... from the hostess to the waiter. Unfriendly to put it mildly. There were open tables for the whole time that we were there so I have no idea why we were being rushed through out meal. We had barely sat down when he wanted our mains order. As soon as we had eaten we were again told to choose dessert. When I said we would like some time to chat, the waiter gave us a glare. I would have understood had there been a cue outside waiting for tables.
Unfortunately this makes the food pale. We will not be back.
