Not a good experience with this company at all. I send 28 plastic chairs and 14 school tables to Richards Bay through #Virgologistics. I told their company representative to better a quote a got from another #logistics company. She phoned me with a price and I must have understood her incorrectly. The next day she WhatsApp me the amount of R15068.11 for the delivery. I was shocked at the price and told her to stop the delivery immediately. She told me if they don't do the payment they will not release the goods and keep the goods for themselves. The conversations went backwards and forward for two days and on the end, I phoned the third part they used to transfer the goods through to Durban. The manager told me in Afrikaans the following. His words were "hulle trek die dam onder die eend se gat uit". I then decided to phone the operational manager again at Virgo. I told him what the manager said from the third party company and he told me that he will request new dimensions and a new fee. Later the day his representative phoned me with a price of R4817.32 delivered to Durban and not even to my client in Richards Bay.
Now, surely the courier company should have made sure that the dimensions and weight of the goods were right when booked in and the right price charged to the client.....but in this instance, the clients always get the blame!
I know for a fact they still ripped me off with the latest price, but something things a person just have to let go...Not even a sorry or anything after 3 days and very poor customer service.....I will never ever recommend #VirgoLogistics from #Capetown.
