In October 2025, I registered on Virtuagigs and paid for a plan. They assured me that my account would be activated within 24 hours. However, after the 24-hour period, my account was still not activated. I then received an email stating that they were experiencing delays with account activation and could not provide a timeline for resolution. Instead, they advised me to request a refund, which I did. I received a confirmation email stating that my refund would be processed within 7–14 days. To date, I have not received the refund. Despite sending multiple follow-up emails, my messages have been ignored.

In October 2025, I registered on Virtuagigs and paid for a plan. They assured me that my account would be activated within 24 hours. I then received an email stating that they were experiencing delays with account activation and could not provide a timeline for resolution. Instead, they advised me to request a refund, which I did. I received a confirmation email stating that my refund would be processed within 7–14 days. To date, I have not received the refund. On 23 October 2025, I took a chance and subscribed to the Standard plan on VirtuaGigs, in the hopes of bettering my financial position. My payment went through successfully, but I was unable to access my dashboard. I sent an email to VirtuaGigs for support. They responded confirming that my payment had been received, but that there was an issue with the email I had entered on registration. I rep**** with my correct email and waited. On 27 October 2025 I sent a follow up email, as I had not yet heard anything. I received a response saying that the best way forward would be to process a refund and resubscribe. I requested that they go ahead with the refund. VirtuaGigs sent me a refund request link and I requested the refund. 28 October 2025 I received a mail stating that my refund was processed successfully and would be paid to my account. On 14 November 2025, I followed up, as I had not yet received my refund. I subsequently sent emails on 17 & 19 November 2025 enquiring about my refund. I also posted a review on HelloPeter. Shortly after this I received a response from VirtuaGigs expressing their “deepest apologies” and they offered me a free complimentary premier plan, as an offer of goodwill, on condition I either remove or update my HelloPeter review. 4 December 2025, I finally received my refund and removed my HelloPeter review, in hopes that they would activate my complimentary premier plan as promised. I sent them a email confirming this. No response. I sent follow up emails asking that my complimentary premier plan be activated on 11 & 15 December 2025. On 16 December 2025 VirtuaGigs finally responded confirming that my complimentary premier plan would be activated from their side and that I would receive a confirmation email. Needles to say, the confirmation email never came! I have since sent follow up emails on 5, 9 & 21 January 2026 as well as on 3 February 2026, and once again… no Response! Bottom line………VirtuaGigs makes empty promises and is not a Trustworthy company. Do not believe their lies.

On 17 November i received an email which said they are experiencing some delays with activating my account and they dont know how long it will take for them to resolve the issue. Instead they suggested that I request a refund, of which I did and received a comfirmation email that I will receive my refund within 7-14 days. Until now i have not received my refund. I sent several emails but they are ignoring me. This is a ****!!!!!!!!

This company is a ****. I paid a subscription fee only to be told a week later that there is no space to on-board me. I then chose the option for a refund (which they confirmed had been successfully processed) and was to expect my refund within 7-14 days. It has now been 16 days and they are ignoring my emails.

Really impressed so far. Easy to get it into and the gigs are well laid out to do in my free time. Support has actually been helpful too. Had problem with my dashboard being locked after the renewing and support fixed it in moments after mailing them.

I’ve been with VirtuaGigs for a few months now, so figured it’s time I leave an honest review since I was also skeptical at first. First things first: The platform is easy enough to use once you’re in, and I’ve managed to pick up a few gigs that actually pay decently. For me, that already makes it worth it. That being said, I can confirm what some of the other reviews are saying – the sign-up process was a bit of a headache. Even after I paid for the Standard Plan, it still took longer than I expected before my account was fully activated. So if you’re impatient, that part can be frustrating. Another thing: support isn’t great. If you send in a query, don’t expect a quick reply. It feels like they’re a bit short-staffed on that side. Payouts do come through, but they aren’t exactly fast either, you’ll probably wait longer than you’d like.
