On 23 October 2025, I took a chance and subscribed to the Standard plan on VirtuaGigs, in the hopes of bettering my financial position. My payment went through successfully, but I was unable to access my dashboard. I sent an email to VirtuaGigs for support. They responded confirming that my payment had been received, but that there was an issue with the email I had entered on registration. I rep**** with my correct email and waited. On 27 October 2025 I sent a follow up email, as I had not yet heard anything. I received a response saying that the best way forward would be to process a refund and resubscribe. I requested that they go ahead with the refund. VirtuaGigs sent me a refund request link and I requested the refund. 28 October 2025 I received a mail stating that my refund was processed successfully and would be paid to my account. On 14 November 2025, I followed up, as I had not yet received my refund. I subsequently sent emails on 17 & 19 November 2025 enquiring about my refund. I also posted a review on HelloPeter. Shortly after this I received a response from VirtuaGigs expressing their “deepest apologies” and they offered me a free complimentary premier plan, as an offer of goodwill, on condition I either remove or update my HelloPeter review. 4 December 2025, I finally received my refund and removed my HelloPeter review, in hopes that they would activate my complimentary premier plan as promised. I sent them a email confirming this. No response. I sent follow up emails asking that my complimentary premier plan be activated on 11 & 15 December 2025. On 16 December 2025 VirtuaGigs finally responded confirming that my complimentary premier plan would be activated from their side and that I would receive a confirmation email. Needles to say, the confirmation email never came! I have since sent follow up emails on 5, 9 & 21 January 2026 as well as on 3 February 2026, and once again… no Response! Bottom line………VirtuaGigs makes empty promises and is not a Trustworthy company. Do not believe their lies.
After paying standard subscription and being unable to activate my dashboard, I was told that somehow my email was incorrect, and this is the reason I could not activate my dashboard. This makes no sense, as all correspondence, as well as my login were using the correct email. I decided to give Virtuagigs the benefit of the doubt. I was told to request a refund and then try again. I requested the refund witch was approved. I was told I would receive the refund in 10 to 14 days. Now a month later and still no refund. I have sent 4 follow up emails and have received not response at all. I am beginning to think this is all a ****

Dealing with Bettersure has been one of the worst experiences I have ever experienced. I had bond cover with Bettersure. I decided to change my bond from one bank to another. I contacted Bettersure to change my cover amount and bank details for my bond. When they eventually contacted me back, I was advised that they were unable to change my policy and I would need to get a new quotation. I requested that they give me a new quote. Needless to say they never responded, so i went with another service provider who were absolutely amazing! Once i was notified that my new bond was in the process of registration, I contacted Bettersure to cancel the policy i had with them. I had initially requested that my policy be cancelled as at the end of February, with my final debit order being 1 February. I received a call from Mpho, she stated that if my policy is effective until end February, I will have to pay a premium on 1 March as payments are made in arrears. I then asked for the policy to be cancelled immediately as i did not want to be double debited in March for the Bettersure policy and the new policy. However, going back on my policy documentation, I realized that i have been paying in advance and not in arrears. I even sent through my policy documentation confirming this. I requested that they either refund my February payment, or cover me for the month of February. I have sent numerous emails and have had absolutely no response from Bettersure. They have basically ****** my money!!
