Do not use visa-application.org for Schengen visa
I made the mistake of using this website to complete my Schengen visa application on-line. They charge more than double and provide less assistance than other similar services. I seriously do not know what I paid for. After submitting the form electronically and paying, they sent me an e-mail with a PDF document of my application information. This PDF is worthless and on the day of my in-person visit I had to fill in another form by hand as the PDF sent by them was not in the correct format. The previous website I used sent me the PDF document in the correct format and I did not have to complete it again by hand. They did make an in-person appointment on my behalf, but the other website I used previously actually gave me options of times and dates. When I wanted to change my appointment dates, I could not change the appointment as the e-mail used by the service to make the appointment was not my e-mail, so I had to phone the visa office for assistance. Lastly, the visa-office had no record of my payment. So I had to pay again (but less than half what I paid this service). Hopefully I will get a refund when I send proof of payment, but I seriously doubt it. The physical visa offices are run by VFS. Rather use the on-line VFS service than visa-applications.org. They look official but they are not!
