Waiting for more than 4 months for payment and hours on the phone when enquiring and no claims statements
I am awaiting reprocessing and payment of PMB in hospital claims in respect of 2 patients admitted to hospital November 2025 220126QBS7JJ & 220126QB57BD. Upon of enquiring one is met with the same response - still in process. Second patient admitted in December 2025 - call reference 220126QB57BD same response - still in processing.
Patient admitted to hospital unbeknown to him that he had cancer. This was discovered when he had scans done including an Ebus. Apart from this patient now having to deal with a cancer diagnosis, he also has to be subjected to his medical aid not paying all his doctors and on top of that being investigated for possible non disclosure!!
Patient admitted to a clinic and the Physician consulted with the patient on 23 April 2025 ij the clinic. NUMEROUS phone calls to obtain payment but no joy to get ONE IN HOSPITAL CONSULTATION paid. Then I get an email indicating "your query has been resolved" NO!! It has not!! Call references DMR reference 5678055, PLM32838086 and 030625QZ4VH3
I canceled my subscription on 28 Feb 2025 - a 4 minute call at 16h26. To date I am still being debited monthly. Please refund the months INCORRECTLY deducted.
My 83 year old mother has been left severely TRAUMATISED regarding an account paid off. In November 2023 she bought paint at Game and started paying this off using an easy pay number given to her. A few months ago she was called and hounded to the point where she almost had a breakdown hammering on her head regarding an outstanding account which in her mind she paid as she has the receipts!! Only to find out there is 2 easy pay numbers. NO ONE has been able to successfully resolve this and to date she has been handed over for debt collections.
We have a deaf 72 year old patient who has pulmonary embolism and weekly goes for INR under PMB legislated code I26.9. Apart from that she also has hyperlipidemia (E78.0). According to her care plan she has one physician consultation for the year!! Authorisation for this consultation 332352945 was obtained by her GP. Only for the account to be REJECTED!!! A motivation was then sent in and this query 210225QTZ5LL was closed without resolution!! It is now almost 3 months yet the member did EVERYTHING as a responsible member!! This is unacceptable. Lastly I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Eon with call reference 030425QWDP3N who should be rewarded and acknowledged for his customer service capabilities. 9
Tried to call to reschedule an appointment- UNABLE to get thru in any way and I am now going to FORFEIT the appointment and cost
17 January 2025 we purchased a Hyundai Exeter 2025 from Hyundai N1 City. I reported the brakes faulty and by 22 January 2025 the car was collected for repair. The BRAND NEW car already had ****m on the clock. After one month back and forth in February 2025 eventually asked that the sale be cancelled. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP - I am STILL sitting with the faulty car and the temporary number plate.
Samwumed PMB legislated hospital account for Oxtober 2024 still not processed. Promises of we will be in contact does not materialize and to think that Medscheme administers so many medical aids. This is not a good reflection. Any idea the email addresses of the principal officers ?
