Viziatech WiFi UPS barely outlasts warranty period

I purchased a Vizia WiFi UPS from Takealot in June 2021. Initially it worked OK, certainly not the claimed 5 hours but just enough to cover a 2.5hr loadshedding period. However after owning the unit for a year and a half it now barely lasts for an hour with only a WiFi router attached to it. No additional devices or phones charging. It wasn't the cheapest option at R1400, and with a 32,000mwh rating I expected a lot more.

Going by a lot of other reviews Vizia seem to manufacture their devices to only last as long as the warranty period which is a great shame, and as others have mentioned extremely wasteful. This has put me in a difficult situation with no spare money to purchase a new unit and loadshedding on the rise. Contacting Viziatech via their website has so far been fruitless. I really cannot recommend Viziatech products.
