I purchased my vehicle directly from VW Westgate, not from Volkswagen South Africa (VWSA), and therefore, my primary expectation of accountability and assistance lies with your dealership. The issue I’m facing — a persistent EPC warning light and severe loss of power — is a serious safety concern. The vehicle has lost power while driving on the highway, putting both myself and other road users at risk. It is simply not acceptable to be advised to continue driving a vehicle that is clearly not roadworthy. Passing responsibility to VWSA is not a solution. As the selling dealership, VW Westgate should be actively resolving the matter or providing a safe alternative, rather than deflecting the issue. I am not comfortable continuing to drive a potentially dangerous vehicle, and I expect immediate and appropriate support from your dealership. Regards,
