I purchased a phone from Takealot that turned out to be faulty and network-blocked. I submitted a return claim, fully expecting a replacement or refund. Now, Takealot is refusing to process my claim simply because I no longer have the charging cable. This is completely unacceptable. The issue isn’t the charger—it’s that the device they sold was not fit for purpose. A missing accessory should never prevent a refund or replacement when the product itself is faulty. I trusted Takealot to sell me a legitimate device. Instead, I’m being penalized for their mistake. I’ve lost all trust in buying devices from them. I’m demanding a full refund. Buyer beware: Takealot will try to shift responsibility and find any reason to avoid refunding faulty products.

I would like to pass my sincere gratitude with Takealot delivery guys, they are so kind and polite and always deliver on time with no issues, Takealot is a very good company I highly recommend it to everyone, I'm a biggest Takealot customer and I must say I'm obsesses and very appreciative of your good service, please keep up the good work.

Ima be honest...this took longer than I wanted it to take - a whole month...but I was constantly communicated with and I knew what was going on throughout the process. Got my board today and I feel like a kid on Christmas morning!

Wakealot.com - I ordered a tube from Wakealot.com in December as a Christmas present for my kids, the tube was never delivered, and despite being promised a refund Wakealot still has my R7400.00. Stay away from this business and spend your hard-earned cash somewhere else. **** poor Wakealot!!!

Disgusting service, zero communication. I ordered and paid for a product that was in stock. Delivery time was 10 days. After a month i tried calling, emailing, and using the online chat function. I was ignored for a further 2 weeks. I still have not received the product or a refund. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY.

I am giving Wakealot.com (****alot?) a 1-star review as there is not a lower option. This e-commerce site appears to be one of several owned by All Net Holdings PTY (Ltd). I cannot confirm it, but it would appear from searches on the internet that the company starts ecommerce sites, takes peoples money and then just closes down/liquidates the site and starts another one. See for example the "iwarehouse" liquidation thread on the 4x4 community.co.za site. This procedure of starting companies and then liquidating them might not be ******* in South Africa, but is certainly immoral and in my view might be classified as a "legal ****". Perhaps the info on the internet is not correct, but please be careful! My experience has certainly been absolutely awful and it is certainly the worst customer experience I have every experienced. I ordered a Garmin Fishfinder on 18 January 2024, paid and immediately got an email confirming my order. The reason that I used this company was because they advertised that they had a 4.8/5 star Google review, 100% guaranteed satisfaction and delivery to your door within 5-7 working days. When I checked after this period I was informed that I should have read the fine print that states clearly that they don't carry any stock and that delivery may take longer. Ok, lesson learned. I was then told the item will be delivered end February. After trying for several days to contact Wakealot via phone, Whatsapp and email I asked in a Whatsapp if this is a real site or "****alot". A lady, Chanel, then phoned me and said she was taking my order over and I should get it at the end of March and that I could contact her directly anytime. Well despite calls and Whatsapps to her number there has been no response. Many, many calls to all the Wakealot numbers have all gone unanswered and eventually you are just cut off. I have also sent many emails, imessages and even tried to contact the CEO and Senior All Net Holdings staff via LinkedIn, but no response. I can only assume that they have decided to also close down the Wakealot site (review written on 9 April 2024, nearly 3 months after the product was ordered). As a matter of interest, the latest Wakealot.com Google review, 22 hours ago, was a 1-star. There are also many other poor reviews indicating that this company just don't respond. Please check all the poor reviews on Google and Hello Peter before you use Wakealot.com, or any of the All Net Holdings (PTY) (Ltd) ecommerce sites.

Ordered a waterski in November 2023. After 4 weeks managed to contact Scheneve Parkin who told me the item was actually out of stock. They were happy to take my money despite this fact. I then asked for a refund which has not happened despite numerous emails. Terrible service 😡
