In December 2025, my son was involved in a collision caused by your driver, who turned directly in front of his oncoming vehicle. While we are grateful that there were no serious injuries, his vehicle was declared a total write‑off. This has created significant disruption, as he relies on his vehicle for work and daily responsibilities. What has been most disappointing is the complete lack of communication and empathy from WANATU following the incident. At no point did anyone from your company reach out to check on his wellbeing or acknowledge the seriousness of the situation. After submitting an email with witness statements, we received no response until I made several follow‑up phone calls. Even then, the reply was dismissive and limited to “work through your insurance,” with no concern shown for the impact this has had on my son. This level of indifference reflects poorly on the values and professionalism of your organisation. As a company operating vehicles on public roads, one would expect a far higher standard of accountability, communication, and basic human decency.

My minderjarige seun het vandag van Wanatu se diens gebruik gemaak - vir 'n rit van 8km het Wanatu 'n fooi van R174.90 gehef !!! Dit werk uit op R21.86 per kilometer. Belaglik. Absolute uitbuitery.

Ek is ’n vrou wat alleen moes huis toe ry om 19:00 die aand, en my ervaring met Warnatu was absoluut uitstaande! Ek het van die eerste oomblik af veilig gevoel. Die bestuurder was vriendelik, professioneel en het my op my gemak laat voel. Dit was só lekker om te kan ontspan en nie bang te wees nie. Baie dankie, Warnatu, vir ’n diens wat regtig veiligheid en gemoedsrus eerste stel – ek beveel julle beslis aan!

Die drywer was 1 km weg eta 3 min, Ek het hom gekies. Mean while was hy besig om 'n trip weg te doen 20 km. EK het na eta nie bereik is en geen boodskappe terug ontvang het nie die trip van R220 gekanseleer, my refund was net R55. Baie swak app. ek bly maar by uber.

I had to use wanatu last week as my car went in for a service. I didn't need to worry about who would be picking me up or if I'm putting my life in danger. Sure, it's a bit pricey, but that's ok because I would rather use Wanatu instead of Bolt or Uber...though I do not have any complaints about them since I've never used either of them before. I just felt more relaxed by using Wanatu instead of any of the others. I just thought I'd leave this review to say thank you for a job well done.

Best service ever from an Uber service. Thank you to Charmaine, who really went the extra mile. Also Emile. Will definitely be using Wanatu again.

is this app for 'whites' only??? i don't seem to understand why i get cancelled all the time (maybe it's because im black) yeah, it seems to be a race thing, since they're hiring 'afrikaners' only. im a first time user and all i wanted was a ride. i tried to deviate from the competition (uber and bolt) and try wanatu and oh, and boy their true colors are showing. i think they class you before they accept your request, which is ****** ASF! oh, and my refunds? i have to fight for them through endless stupid emails. their refund system is not straight foward! worst experience i've had! do better!

OH MY GOODNESS! Use them - like for real! Keep your other service, because they are still expanding and are busy sometimes, but seriously, whenever you can, rather go with Wanatu. They are so friendly, so professional and they are so cool, I just want them to take the scenic route, hahaha. AMAZING service and I prefer them ANYTIME EVERYTIME!

OH MY GOODNESS! Use them - like for real! Keep your other service, because they are still expanding and are busy sometimes, but seriously, whenever you can, rather go with Wanatu. They are so friendly, so professional and they are so cool, I just want them to take the scenic route, hahaha. AMAZING service and I prefer them ANYTIME EVERYTIME!
