I reported the blocked waste pipe after I called in a private plumber (IOPSA accredited plumber) that looked at my property plumbing. The private company advised me to call the municipality to unblock their side. I called in on the 11 & 12 November to report this problem. The first report was conveniently lost - the report made on the 11 Nov. So I reported it again on the 12th November as nobody from the municipality had come through. I was advised that my situation was an emergency by the consultant that took my call. It is now 5 days later, no service delivery received. I am a rates paying South African citizen. I demand service delivery please.
