Wealthtec
Scores reflect the Overall AI Score for each category
Based on recent customer reviews, Wealthtec presents a deeply polarised customer experience. Customers who are successfully matched with dedicated consultants like Katlego, Sydney, or Karabo frequently praise their patience, professionalism, and proactive updates. However, a recurring pattern of unauthorised debits, ignored cancellation requests, misleading sales practices, and poor communication significantly undermines trust. The business scores well on individual consultant quality but struggles with billing integrity, transparency, and responsive communication.

Good day On 22 July 2025 i received a call from Mr Floyd Matrega working as a sales consultant for Wealthtec services saying they can assist with dept review removal from my name, i was unsure if it was just another **** but decided to take a chance ive been under dept review since 2015 all my accounts was paid up but the Dept review was still on my name i just needed the flag removed from NCR. I was 100% clear by saying if they provide good service that i will be truthfull giving them a honest review, and today im coming to explain my experience sofar with the hopes that my experience change. Fees work as follow: R750 (assessment fee) R4500 (dept review removal) I had mine split over two months so end of august 2025 they took R3000, and end of Septemeber R2250. The process started, i constantly had to follow up a lady called Mmathapelo Radipabe was allocated to handle my account now when i say follow upconstantly it means me sending multiple emails with no response or calling the offices where she is either busy or something is wrong with the lines, but eventually we managed to speak after a couple of days where she will call back or email. Then the process started where i needed to get paid up letters from all my creditors, i myself made contact with all my creditors where i had dept and personally got the letters myself and handed it over to Wealthtec. (keep in mind when the service was sold it was not said that this will be my responsibility to do however i did it as im desperate to get the dept review flag removed) Ok so now they have all the paid up letters showing i owe no one nothing now only thing in the way is the clearance certificare, and there i get a call from a lady called Selloane Mogoregi saying i need to pay and additional R3000 (also not explained when i signed up) once again im already R5250 deep and i pay the R3000 23 January 2026 so im now R8250 in. I also just want to mention when it comes to paying them money the communication from their side is amazing and out of this world, but once the money is paid the communication from their side is non existant. So 23 Jan 2026 i received a call from Mmathapelo saying that my dept review must be moved over from my initial dept review company i signed up with back in 2015 to wealthtech in order to get the clearance certificate, i signed all the papers and sent it back 26 January 2026. Next call i received was 3 February 2026 from Evelyn Matsho who advised she has my clearance certificate i must just pay R3000, where i advised i already paid it and i refferwd her back to Mmatapelo and that was the end of it. 16 February 2026 i emailed and ask for an update, Mmatapelo rep**** same day saying thay that the NCR is offline and they cant upload my stuff to remove the dept review flag, i understood and also did research and saw what she said was indeed true so i left it for a month. 14 March 2026 i googled and saw the NCR made a work around for clearance certificates to be uploaded, i Mmatapelo an email with no response i sent another email 16 March 2026 with no response and today another 18 March 2026. When it comes to taking peoples money in todays day and age you need to provide an service and if something delays your service atleast pick up a phone or respond to an email and just keep your customer updated you are sitting with R8750 of mine and me as the customes sits in the dark not knowing what is happening. Personally im sitting currently thinking i was ****med! and want my money back and take my business elsewhere, i know im just another number for you guys as im sure you have hundreds of thousands of customers its just strange when it comes to sending money you guys are on it but once its paid there is no communication. Today i make a promise saying i will not leave it here, either provide me the service or refund my money if not i will NOT and i repeat i will NOT go to rest i will post on all social media daily of my experience untill my voice is heared i will escalate my matter to national tv shows to investigate you guys, its not right that you take vonurable peoples money i work very hard for my money and will not allow it to be taken for granted. Im expecting a call or email or something. Once my experience has been turned around i will return back to the platforms where im going to post and change the star rating and keep others informed of my experience. I was assisted with account. I would like to thank Katlego for the help and taking me through the process and advising me further on my next step even after the service she has provided. Thank you Katlego
