I ordered and paid for one (1) Diesel Toffee Laptop Bag on 23 November 2018 at Wellington leather Co.
According to their official website, production and delivery can be between 4- 6 weeks.
On 14 January 2019, after still not receiving my bag, I phoned the company. The administration lady, who was friendly, informed me that I would have feedback about my bag before the end of that week - she lied. There was no further communication from their side.
21 January 2019, I phoned once more. This time, and for the next two weeks, I was told that the courier had not yet been paid hence, my bag not being delivered.
This is obviously unprofessional as courier services were also paid for on 23 November 2018.
On the 4th of February 2019, I phoned asking what the steps are to get a refund I was given an email address, not listed on their website, and told that payment could take up to 2 weeks.
Via facebook, I discovered the company is under new management and I then obtained the new ownerd number.
I immediately phoned both my calls got rejected and i received and sms asking to text. I complied.
Hours after, nd still no feedback I phoned once more however, to no avail.
I added the number on Whatsapp and sent the same sms message as earlier asking when I will be refunded.
He then sent a voicenote stating I should go to paypal and follow a link, which does not exist?
Please save yourself R2000,00 (or more) and avoid Wellington Leather Co at all costs - there is no communication nor feedback from their side despite multiple attempts.
Highly unprofessional and immensely uncool, this company serves as the epitome of disappointment and the reason to avoid local companies.
