I ordered and paid for one (1) Diesel Toffee Laptop Bag on 23 November 2018 at Wellington leather Co. According to their official website, production and delivery can be between 4- 6 weeks. On 14 January 2019, after still not receiving my bag, I phoned the company. The administration lady, who was friendly, informed me that I would have feedback about my bag before the end of that week - she lied. There was no further communication from their side. 21 January 2019, I phoned once more. This time, and for the next two weeks, I was told that the courier had not yet been paid hence, my bag not being delivered. This is obviously unprofessional as courier services were also paid for on 23 November 2018. On the 4th of February 2019, I phoned asking what the steps are to get a refund I was given an email address, not listed on their website, and told that payment could take up to 2 weeks. Via facebook, I discovered the company is under new management and I then obtained the new ownerd number. I immediately phoned both my calls got rejected and i received and sms asking to text. I complied. Hours after, nd still no feedback I phoned once more however, to no avail. I added the number on Whatsapp and sent the same sms message as earlier asking when I will be refunded. He then sent a voicenote stating I should go to paypal and follow a link, which does not exist? Please save yourself R2000,00 (or more) and avoid Wellington Leather Co at all costs - there is no communication nor feedback from their side despite multiple attempts. Highly unprofessional and immensely uncool, this company serves as the epitome of disappointment and the reason to avoid local companies.

Super disappointed, ordered and paid my leather bag. It never came. The phones keep ringing and nobody comes back to you with any feedback.

With reference to my order #4668 on October 26, 2018. I inquired about the order on the 9th of November and was told it would be delivered by the 13th. On the 16th I inquired again and was told the shipping was underway and it would be delivered by the 20th. Once again I inquired about this on the 23rd and was told it is already out on delivery and would be delivered that same day. On the 26th I was told it would only be delivered the next day. I spoke with them on the phone and it became clear to me that the bag had never been ready nor would it possibly be delivered before I needed it. I requested a refund and was asked for a letter of account confirmation. I was given a gmail address as the contact for the owner and told that the owners phone was out of order and it was not possible for me to talk with the owner. After having to follow up once again I was told that the owner would refund my purchase before 12AM on the 27th. At 2PM on the 27th I phoned again, only to be told that the owner will make payment before 8PM. It is now the 7th of December and I have not heard from them since. They are no longer answering the phones. I made this purchased with the idea of gifting it on the 27th of November, that is a month after I ordered it, well over double the lead time specified on the website. I wish I had seen the reviews on Hello Peter before ordering. I had ordered from them on a friends recommendation. The service from this company is horrible. As an added bonus, they gave away the same item I ordered in a Facebook promotion on the 3rd of November.

I have one of the worst customer experiences ever with The Wellington Leather Co. Due to no feedback or communication this is my last resource. I have emailed and phoned Wellington Several times and are still waiting for feedback or a response. I wanted to order Ladies Bonnie Vellies - Diesel Toffee as my sister and her husband have Wellington Vellies and said it is very comfortable. They did however tell me that I need to order a size bigger as my sister had to return hers due to the size being too small. I wanted to make an online purchased for Ladies Bonnie Vellies - Diesel Toffee size 6 but the website was not working and I then emailed Wellington Leather to let them know about the error. Wellington Leather then informed me that they changed their style of the vellies and that if I wear a size 5 I should order a size 5. They even promised that if the size 5 does not fit they will personally exchange it for me. On 1 June 2018 I ordered a size 5 and paid for the Vellies and delivery. On the website it indicated that the vellies take up to 30days to deliver. After just over 30 days I contacted Wellington Leather as I have not heard anything from them. They then told me they are out of stock and it might still take a few weeks. After a few weeks I contacted Wellington Leather again as no feedback or communication has been received from them. The did not keep me up to date at all. On this occasion I was informed that they expect to get stock in soon. By mid-August I contacted them again and only then they told me they have received stock and I will receive my Vellies in the next week or so. I had to follow up again as I did not receive my Vellies in a week or so. I even had to go onto their Instagram page just to get someone to respond to my queries and follow ups. After 3.5 months I eventually received my Vellies. But to my disappointment it did not fit. My Mom then said she will try them on and if it fits her (As she wears a 4 or 5) she will take it. But it did not even fit her. So I contacted Wellington and ask if I may exchange it as they promised. Wellington Leather informed me that they are out of stock and will not be able to exchange it. I can return it to them and they will refund me. When I ask how the refund process works they told me I had to go to the nearest Post Net and post it myself. With all my other online purchase the company usually send someone to collect the items where it had been delivered. I have returned the Vellies to Wellington Leather via Post Net as per their request and informed them of the delivery. I have send an email with my banking details and has also phoned twice. It was promised that the owners of Wellington Leather will get in touch with me. It is now 1.5 weeks later and I have received no feedback what so ever. I am still waiting for my refund (Vellies and Delivery as it was promised they will personally exchange it). This is really an unpleasant customer experience going on for almost 6 months. Bought shoes for my son for his birthday. Returned the shoes because it was to small. They undertook to replace it in 8 weeks. After 8 weeks they said they would rather return the money as they could not meet the order. Supplied the banking details ob 5 October. They have on a number of occasions said that payment will be made that week. On Tuesday (13/11/2018) my son was informed that payment was made. None has however been received. Criticized them on Facebook because they still advertise on Facebook but telephonically they would say they have serious problems and cannot supply timiously. I have since been blocked and cannot comment on their Facebook page. Think twice before ordering from them.

What a dissapointment , money put of my account , order no was promised delivery on a leather bag before 16Aug .... the 17th cant get hold of anyone at the company no tracking no no delivery has been made and absolutely no answers
