I bought an item from Yuppiechef on 7/12/2024. When I ordered and paid for it, their system showed one item in stock and delivery would take 2-3 working days. I had to make several enquiries on what the status on delivery was. It was only delivered on 17 December 2024. Upon ordering they had the option for a personalized gift message and wrapping. None of this was done. I will not buy from them again
On 29/11/2024 I bought a Samsung Tablet and cover from Samsung Clearwater in Roodepoort. When I got home, I noticed that the cover was blue. I contacted Cecilia at Samsung. She was not available, and I spoke to Brian and said we wanted a black cover. He undertook to check stock and to call me back. He never did. On 5 Decemeber I took the cover back to the store. The owner or manager, Jerome, informed that there was a handling fee of 20%. I was never given te option on colors for the cover. He stated the handling fee was indicated on the invoice. I only received that invoice via email once I got home as they could not print it in store. I objected to this and said that this would cause me to never buy from them again and that I would report the matter on Hello Peter. He then, arrogantly told me to please do so, that it would not be the first complaint on Hello Peter and notwithstanding this his store is still in business. The product bought from them was cheaper on Samsung online. Client service here is non-existing and you will be better served to buy from the online store.
I have never seen a company with so many positive reviews on hellopeter, but after dealing with Martin and Ryan I fully understand why that is. I was very skeptical but can in all honesty say they are the real deal. Thank you so much for the excellent product you supp**** and the service that I received from you is second to none.
After a house ******* in May 2024 the service I got from my broker Rene Kok and the Santan assessor, Adrian Miller was just outstanding. Adrian was at all times professional and kept me updated on the process. Thanks Adrian and Santam.
I have been a MTN customer for the better part of 15 years. In 2016 I was about 4 years into a contract and a gentleman from MTN contacted me and begged me to upgrade which I eventually did after he explained all the added benefits I would receive, which included: - 350 min anytime voice calls -1 gb date (+ 1gb promotional data) 500 free sms's At some stage the promotional data was removed, which I did not complain about because I did to use so much data. Then I noticed at the end of 2019 that I got a message to say that I am incurring additional costs when I was sending a sms. It transpired that the sms benefit was removed. Again I did not complain as I send, at most 5 sms's per month. On the 17/12/2020 I noticed that I was not allocated my usual 1024 mb data fot the month. As I was on holiday I bought aa gb data for R149. I also called MTN and the lady said I do not get data on my contract. Huh? I wrote an email to complaints@mtn and although the say they tipically respond within 24 hours it has now been nearly 3 weeks without a response. I called MTN on 4 separate occasions and spoke to 4 separate consultants, and the last one (Mrs Khumalo) today informed me that the reason I no longer receive the data is because I am now over my contract period and the remove all the ancillary benefits (ie data and sms's) , although my monthly premiums stay the same. This is nothing less than theft and extortion to force clients to upgrade. I wish for MTN to confirm if this is correct, and if so I would take the matter to the ombud and move my business to another provider.
Bought shoes for my son for his birthday. Returned the shoes because it was to small. They undertook to replace it in 8 weeks. After 8 weeks they said they would rather return the money as they could not meet the order. Supplied the banking details ob 5 October. They have on a number of occasions said that payment will be made that week. On Tuesday (13/11/2018) my son was informed that payment was made. None has however been received. Criticized them on Facebook because they still advertise on Facebook but telephonically they would say they have serious problems and cannot supply timiously. I have since been blocked and cannot comment on their Facebook page. Think twice before ordering from them.
I dreaded dealing with MTN Insurance / Monitor after reading about negative experiences. The service I however received was efficient and Kwenza responded immediately to my mails. Thank you!
