I want to give Joe the assistant at Wentworth hospital his flowers because he deserves them. Joe the Hospital Manager as I would call him, He is so helpful to every patient that comes in to the hospital, the mood he has in the morning is the same mood he will have till he knocks off. He always addresses patients with respect, he is so caring also. If you are lost and dont know where to go, he will leave his desk and accompany you till you are sorted. If you lost your card he will go to every door until it is found and shout at the staff if he needs to. I have been to many hospitals even private but I have never seen someone like Joe, he makes the patients visit to the hospital a smooth sailing. Joe is an asset at Wentworth hospital and they should cherish him

My brother took himself to hospital on 08 March 2025. He is having trouble breathing and getting weak that he cannot even walk . My brother has been sitting on a chair since arrival at this hospital . Nobody is giving him a bed to be able to rest . He is unable to rest and his body is now giving up due to sitting on a chair . I’m pleading and I am begging for this to be sorted out . Atleast maybe h should be taken to a ward. Anything so he’s able to sleep . I’m begging . He has no strength to even stand up and go to toilet . I am begging and pleading for help

My dad was admitted at this pathetic hospital on Sunday, it's now Tuesday and all they have given him is drips, for a major stroke, he is immobile, he cannot eat or drink on his own , The waiting at this hospital is ridiculous. They seem to be understaffed and the care level is very low. Some old people wait from 3am and only get attended to after days . Hungry, thirsty and cold or burning in the heat outside. Some assistant nurses think they are doctors and make diagnosis without knowing the history of the patient. They are very cynical and rude when we ask questions about my father or his treatment , a nurse actually said "I am tired of repeating myself". They can have better human relations as people are forced to go there because they can't afford private treatment. Instead they are punished for being poor !!!!!!! These doctors and nurses take oaths to help save lives ,instead a patient is left unattended for so long they will end up dying waiting for assistance!!!!!! Someone really needs to do something about it ,they are not working for Free ,they are being paid to do their jobs to the best of their abilities, ****ing assholes !!!!!!!! If anything happens to my father they will pay the price! That is someone's life and it's precious ! They need to put themselves and their wives and children or parents in our shoes, then they might get some form of empathy ,bunch of entitled , useless people !!!!!!!!😡 for being poor.

We've been sitting in the chairs for three hours and doctors and nurses are not helping. Patients are waiting in pains while others are sleeping in the floor. You can see people are not getting help and they are in pains with no help. This is very bad (public hospitals in South Africa are disgusting)

if there was an option for zero stars I would -20 stars yesterday Saturday my son was badly assaulted by some guys & was seriously injured so I phoned the ambulance & they took him to Wentworth hospital after I specifically told them to go king Edward coz that's closer to my home after fetching my wife forms work I went to Wentworth hospital & saw him sitting in pain on 1 side so I asked the nurse what's going on & she gave me a pathetic excuse so we waited & then they sent him for an x-ray they was looking at the x-rays & said no nothing serious and gave him some paracetamol tablets & said go home. the attitude of both doctors & nurses was ****** & I was not the only 1 noticing that coz another courled lady said the same thing & b4 leaving I asked the short female doctor about the J88 form she said that you must come next week so I said so we can't open a charge she said that's your problem so I I left that pathetic excuse for a hospital ... suffering & walking to my car & when I got in my litie said dad I can't even breathe properly so I drove to king Edward hospital & there the triage nurse put a priority sticker on his chart & a doctor saw him & sent to x-rays & o ce back we were told he has 2 fractured ribs & blood clot on his head so we are going to admit him .... now 1 pathetic hospital say nothing wrong & a well run hospital found the injury is bad my opinion is where do Wentworth get pathetic excuse for a doctor who can't read a x-ray report how did she get this job who is who you know & not what you know my opinion is idiot doctors like this should go back to med school Wentworth hospital should fire the superintendent & their pathetic doctors & nurses & replace them with professionals not fly by notes.... I'm very disappointed in that hospital .... there is no more words to explain how unprofessional Wentworth hospital & how king Edward hospital is a 100000 times more professional hospital than them
