I wanted to purchase a 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 400 priced at R90 000, i was assisted by Elouise from their finance department. She was friendly and helpful at first, but this all turned for the worse.

I app**** for finance and was told that Wesbank required a R12 000 deposit to go ahead with the finance. I then paid the deposit only to get financed by ABSA. No options were sent to me to choose from.

When I queried this with ABSA I was told that I had been financed for the full amount of the bike, R94 000.

When I asked Elouise about this, she tried to give me all sorts of stories and then ended up swearing at me after I told her that I no longer wish to go ahead with the deal as I do not feel they are being honest, no offer to purchase one contract had been signed. When I asked then to refund the deposit that was intended for the bank. They outright refused to pay my R12 000 back. Only after I had opened a case against them and the investigating officer had called them did they then reluctantly pay my deposit back..
