I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with both the product quality and customer service from Whiskas. I recently bought a large bag of Whiskas Fish Flavour pellets, and it’s clear that the formula has changed. All three of my cats, who have eaten this flavour for years, suddenly refuse to touch it. They smell it and walk away. This is not a small issue. I spent the last money I had on this big bag, trusting the brand I’ve always re**** on. Now my cats are growing thinner every day because they simply won’t eat this new formula. One of my cats has just had kittens, and she’s being drained by them while getting no nutrients back because she won’t eat the food. This situation is becoming heartbreaking to watch. I emailed Whiskas customer care multiple times, and to this day I have received absolutely no response. No acknowledgement, no assistance, nothing. The lack of accountability is shocking for a brand this big. If this continues, Whiskas will be directly responsible for the starvation of my 3 cats and 3 kittens, because I trusted their product and their customer support, and both have failed me completely. I am posting this review because I want other pet owners to be aware of what is happening with the Whiskas Fish Flavour formula and the complete silence from their customer service team

I purchased 2 x boxes of wet Whiskers cat food of 12 x pouches in each box. I realized that my three cats would pull up their noses. Half way through the first box, I decided to smell the food. The food was rotten. I opened the second box. Same thing. The food was rotten. I contacted MARS, explained the situation. They wanted BB dates Bar codes Where I purchased the products. I sent them pics of everything. They promised me that they would get back to me once the investigation was made. They also stated that they would send me vouchers in replacement of the rotten products. I kept the rotten food in my home which started attracting flies and causing a health problem. Two weeks ago and I've heard nothing. When I tried to follow up, they ghosted me. Never in my life have I dealt with such poor service.

No nutrition. My cat lost weight and was extremely lethargic, weak and not himself for the month I had him on Whiskas. As soon as I got him different food, he ate as if he hadn't eaten in days.....

I've been feeding my cat Whiska's wet food jelly for the last 7 years. I'm not sure why you thought it was a great idea to change the recipe, but from a Cat Owner, this was the worst decision your business could have made. Your new recipes are disgusting & myself & other Cat Owners, who have re**** on your jelly food for our cats for years, are now throwing away packet after packet of uneaten food. Our cats wont even taste the food. We are now resorted to find alternatives. If it is not broken, dont fix it

I'm not sure why you thought it was a great idea to change the recipe, but from a Cat Owner, this was the worst decision your business could have made. I have been feeding my 8 cats whiskas for the past 5 years and never had a problem until the packaging and contents changed. Ever since, my cats started getting sick everytime they ate pellets. My one ****** was vomiting on a daily basis and I realized I should change the food. The one type of pellet they wouldn't bother eating. Needless to say since I changed their food they don't get sick anymore.

My cat refuses to eat the new chicken, so clearly its not the same taste/recipe Whiskas is lying to the public, i might even query if cheaper ingredients are being used so they make bigger profits, considering the issues being reported. Along with the rebrand, they changed their packaging on dry food, to now exclude the very helpful re-sealable bags, will be changing brands on dry food as well very soon Using Hello Peter to report this so the public see's this, Reports on places like their Facebook page are not being attended to properly i believe, this needs to be properly investigated

Our " previous" cat - now deceased, lived to the ripe age of 23 y/o eating only the original Whiska's recipe dry chunkies. Our "new " cat was fed only the Whiska's old recipe and with the new change, has simply gone off his food completely .He has lost condition and his coat has lost the lustre it had. He is very lethargic and has lost his high energy levels. There is definately a problem with this product. We have tried all the available flavours with the same result. Cats just don't like it. We have spoken to several cat owners who all complain of the same symptoms which is of concern to all and needs to be addressed or clients will simply stop buying this product.
