I recently visited the wok n roll irene and had a really good experience. The service was professional and smooth from start to finish. I was assisted by Ofentse, she is currently in training—and I have to say, she was absolutely excellent. She was patient, attentive, and consistently made sure we were comfortable throughout the process. She kept checking in, asking if we were okay, and explaining what was happening in a calm and kind manner. You wouldn’t even guess she's still in training because she handled everything with such care and confidence. Thank you to the whole team—and especially Ofenti—for making the experience a positive one!

My son was hired by wok n roll. No contract signed. Worked full week from 11am to 10pm. Was told to get an accommodation closer which he did. Today he was found using the phone and was told that he doesn't listen and got fired. Listen to who csuse no one told him anything. After spending almost R3000 on transport and getting accommodation. Wok n roll is the worst. I need advice on what to do, which steps to take

I booked a table for five at Wok n Roll Irene Village for their Deluxe Sushi Buffet to celebrate my birthday. We arrived at 18:00, looking forward to a relaxed evening and the “all-you-can-eat” menu. However, the experience fell far below expectations. From the start, service was slow and unresponsive. In the two hours we were there, we barely received our first order, and the waiter didn’t check in on us. My boyfriend asked for a fork 3 times and got ignored by the waiter. We watched as the table next to us was served quickly and without delay, while our own experience was noticeably different. The amount of food we received was minimal – something one person could easily finish alone – and our waiter continued asking if we wanted to order more even though we hadn’t received our initial items. When we finally raised a complaint and asked to speak with the manager, it took them half an hour to address our concerns, and by then, it was too late to salvage the evening. Although they attempted to bring the food after our complaint, we declined; with only an hour left to order, it simply wasn’t worth it. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing and didn’t meet the standard I expected for a special occasion. I hope Wok n Roll addresses these issues to improve their service going forward.

Awful experience! Got my order wrong about 3 times , waitress super rude! Owner came up to me and told me I ordered wrong when and they brought me what I asked for (Ordered Bao Buns got Bao dumplings which I don’t eat) - When paying the bill the waitress questioned her tip and then gave it back and said she didn’t want it because it clearly wasn’t good enough for her! Never in my lifetime have I had someone ungrateful enough to return a tip to someone when it isn’t enough! TIPS ARE NOT COMPULSORY especially when service was so awful! Not to mention friend and I both had bones in our salmon when we ordered sushi.

What a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely sensational and our waitor, Mbuso, was charismatic and helpful; making fantastic suggestions about meal choices. Probably the best Asian food I've had in ages. We'll be back for sure.

Yesterday my sister and daughter decided to visit the new Wok n Roll franchise in Irene Village. Very Disappointing. We opted for the buffet. Waited 2 hours for the food to arrive. Orders was messed up. Not everything that we ordered got to the table. Service was poor. Waited for our bill for 30min only to find out that the bill wasnt in the black book thingy when it finally came to us then we waited further for a bill.
