Went for supper with my parents tonight.

Unfriendly welcome at the door and when we were seated.

Restaurant was not busy.

Waiter did not know what a pot pie was.

Americano tasted like filter coffee.

Ordered beef pot pie with veggies.

Meal arrived and I had to ask for a tables****.

Worst meal I have tasted in Durban in many years. Green beans and the pie were exceptionally salty. Pastry was not fully cooked.

Waiter did not return to ask if the meal was okay.

Got his attention eventually.

Returned it to the waiter after a few bites of the pie. Manager came by to say that it was a bad batch of pie filling, offered to remove the pie from the bill and asked if I would like anything else. I declined and asked for the bill.

When end the waiter came with the card machine he suggested that we should try the curries next time we come. (We are Indians)

I ended up with an upset tummy that night.

It is 2016 and yet this still goes on. I am very familiar with this sort of treatment in the past. This level of service cannot be accepted in this day and age.
