Woolworths Pet is shocking, don’t do it! They don’t answer phones, false advertising with turn around times, I might just go back to my old service provider, cheaper isn’t always better! What a frustrating experience

I took out a pet insurance policy with Woolworths, which included a voucher reward for remaining claim-free for three months. I met the requirement, and the voucher was due in January. However, despite multiple follow-ups since January 3rd, I have yet to receive it. I have been given excuse after excuse: first, that the company was busy after the holidays; then, that I would receive it at the end of January after a policy review. At the end of Jan, I was assured the voucher would arrive by the end of the day—but that never happened. Now, I’m being told it’s the retail team’s responsibility and that I just have to wait indefinitely. This raises serious concerns about how Woolworths handles its commitments. If they cannot even fulfill a simple voucher promise, how can I trust them to handle an actual insurance claim fairly and efficiently? I have now requested to cancel my policy, as I cannot support a company that does not honor its agreements. I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend Woolworths Pet Insurance based on this experience. I expect immediate action to resolve this issue.

Woolworths Pet Insure. Would not recommend this Pet Insurance at all. The Administration is shocking and the app to submit to the claims in shocking and to get hold of anyone to query claims in a nightmare. Eventually I cancelled my policy due to the extremely poor service, claims being rejected, resubmitted and being inundated with messages saying rejected, then processed and then rejected so that you eventually have no idea what is going on. When you phone, they also are unable to explain what is happening. After cancelling my policy over the phone, then sending a confirmation email which was acknowledged - my policy was not cancelled and my bank account was debited after policy had been cancelled. When i called to query, they advised I had not cancelled my policy and they could find no record of my email and suggested I send proof! They did eventually find the cancellation and agreed to refund me but refused to pay interest.
