Incompetence

Hi there Hope you’re well

On the 21st of February I purchased and signed a contract with your dealership under the name Smangaliso Mncadi for a Golf 7R 2.0 TSI which was going for R459,000 . The contract insisted of the description of the car & Vin number , the mileage of the car was not disclosed on the contract at all . Once I signed and handed the contract in I was told I could collect the car on the 28th of February since it was still being prepped at the valet for detailing . On the day I was supposed to collect the car the dealership asked if we could change the date and take flights from Durban to Johannesburg on the 2nd of February of which they paid for and the accommodation we used for that night ( Road Lodge in Roodepoort ) . The following morning they said they would deliver the car to us at 10:00am but arrived with the vehicle around 11:30am , the car was driven by a male & 2 female occupants . Upon the arrival of the vehicle it was in bad condition the list of things that were wrong were :

• The vehicle was dirty and had not been to valet like they had promised

• The vehicle had a smell of an oil leak

• The kilometres were 223 000km’s which we had not been told about

• The vehicle had not been registered since the year 2021

Upon that inspection I decided not to take the car so I got in contact with Ronel Samuels and asked for an uplifting of the contract so I could purchase the vehicle at another dealership, we were promised that they would email it to me in the next 48 hours but there still hasn’t been a response.

I cannot be debited for a vehicle that’s not in my possession, The first debit order is supposed to go off next week , how are you sorting that out ? I’ve been patient and calling everyday

I’ve been avoiding involving lawyers into this matter No body is willing to assist me My calls are avoided

Please sort this out immediately.
