Deposit refund

I moved in on the 1st of December 2024, for a one year lease agreement,,I sent a notice of leaving on the 21st October 2025 notifying them I am not renewing my lease agreement,,they refuse to refund me ,,telling me that I sent notice late ,,they ignore me now
