My eldest son brought his younger brother to the clinic straight from the school as we were called by the school to fetch him as he was not well. They got to the clinic and registered at 10h50, only to be told that they wont be attended to at 13h20. The person that came to address them said the Nurse or RN that can give them meds is not available so they should come back tomorrow morning. I thought school kids and elderly are priority at the clinics , but looking at how our clinics are ran its evident enough that nursing is no longer a calling but a money issue when people are actually not doing what they suppose to be doing. What does one do with a vomiting child through the night? The reason people come to the clinic is because they are sick and need help that very day and have no money to go to the private sector to get help. When we report these issues they feel like we being ungrateful and its not the case we just need help that we don't get. If you are shouted/screamed at then you not getting any help, people don't come to the clinic to be flowers on those uncomfortable chairs. DO SOMETHING ZOLA GATEWAY CLINIC!!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! JUST BECAUSE YOU KNOW IF YOUR FAMILY OR FRIENDS DO GET HELP AS THEY DONT EVEN QUE NEVER THINK THAT YOU HAVE SERVED. REMEMBER THE OATH YOU TOOK AS A NURSE!!!
