GET HYPED WITH 5 COMPETITION 2025
Has anyone else experienced delays with payouts from the “Get Hyped with 5” competition on 5FM? I won the competition in November 2025. At the time, the stated payout timeline was 4–6 weeks. Timeline of what has happened so far: - December 2025 onward: no payment received and no response to follow-up emails - End of March 2026: I was informed that payment would be processed and completed by end of April 2026 - End of April 2026: deadline passed with no payment and no communication - May 2026: follow-up emails sent, no replies received - Later: I was informed via voice note that payment would now only be made by end of July 2026 due to a delay in processing At this stage, I am trying to understand whether this is an isolated case or if other winners are experiencing the same ongoing delay. Any feedback from others in the same competition would be appreciated.

5FM Fix your phones and communicate with your listeners!
I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and follow-up from 5FM. None of the contact numbers listed on the website are functional, as they indicate that the numbers do not exist. The email address and WhatsApp number previously used for communication have also gone unanswered. I won the #Smirnoff21 competition on the 23rd of December and was advised that my details had been forwarded to Smirnoff for payment. Upon contacting Smirnoff, I was informed that the matter would be escalated to their director, as the delay reflects poorly on their brand. It has now been over six weeks, and I have received no feedback, update, or resolution. This lack of response is highly disappointing and unprofessional, and I would appreciate urgent communication to clarify the status of the prize and expected payment.
