Nicholas and his team were excellent. I called them in the late afternoon and they came the next day. The bees were safely removed. The team was very through, yet caring. They did a super job. Kind regards, DF, Kyalami

Last year Dec I put a review on this site which was removed because the perpetrators denied it all, even denied we were clients!...surprise surprise! A while back, as I had sent in videos that proved what happened, and Carte Blanche did a program on the devastation that aabeeremovals Carrie's out on bees...with mine being 1 among other testimonials, I was given permission by hello Peter to re do my review. At the time it was hugely traumatic, for now I will just make a concise list. 1 Aabeeremovals said they can only come in the day when the bees weren't there. (Real beekeepers work at night to ensure they remove the hive when the bees are home as the queen needs her workers to keep her and the eggs alive) 2 They chucked the hive into a bucket and drove off...this means any worker bees still in the hive, the queen, the eggs...all instantly drowned! (It takes a real beekeeper literally hours to transfer the hive into a special bee hive box for safe transfer to his beefarm, their new home) 3 Carte Blanche reporter followed aabeeremovals to the field where 1000's of hives have been dumped over the years. Aabeeremovals have numerous teams in cars constantly active during the summer months. Each collects over 5 hives everydaymy and they have been in the business for over 20 years!!! As if this isnt enough, the perpetrators drain the honey from the hives of the dead bees first, and sell it. Their MOTTO is: Help us save the bees. It's more than shocking!!! Please contact the Southern Bee Keeper Association to ensure you get a genuine bee keeper to remove your hive. You pay the same!

I only put 1 star as otherwise the system does not allow me to out in a review. They deserve way below zero stars! These people have the gall to advertise: 'Please help us save the bees & We do not **** bees' It makes me feel sick to my stomach everytime I pass their office on corner Cowley & Mount rds in Bryanston. My family and I recently had a very traumatic experience with aabeeremovals. (We had bees removed some years ago, the beekeeper came in the evening when all the bees were in the hive. He used his special bee box into which he transferred the hive, a painstakingly slow process. We felt good about the experience and felt the bees were off to greener pastures, happy we had done things the right way.) However, When aabeeremovals came here recently, they brought a bucket, dumped the hive into the bucket, and were in and out in a jiffy and the charge was about R700-850. My daughter said something did not feel right. For 10 days the worker bees hung in a clump close to where the nest had been, waiting for their queen it seemed. It was absolutely tragic to see and we would be worrying about them everyday. Sadly, still in the dark about the fact that aabeeremovals are actually destroying swarm after swarm of bees, we asked them to remove the rest of the bees. By this time my daughter had made enquiries and our fears were confirmed as just as the workers were viciously banging the lid on which the bees were hanging to get them into a bucket, she was on the phone to Kai Hichert, chairman if the southerns bee keeper association, who had just called her. She rushed outside to question the worker who by his answers, re confirmed that her fears had been well founded. She has a video of the 'interview' . She had found out from Kai that when a bee remover dumps a hive into a bucket all the bees and the queen drown in their own honey. Naturally, the eggs die. We were devastated! aabeeremovals are bee destroyers. They also strain the dead bees out of the honey and sell that. What they are doing they have been doing for 30 years: As the owner of the company told me when he was trying to calm my concerns early that morning with lies, which worked on me but fortunately not on my daughter. 30 years of ****ing swarm after swarm and selling his blood honey. I do not have the words to describe the disgust I feel and the sorrow for all the bees they have destroyed. It is depraved people like him who are decimating nature. He gets 4-5 clients everyday, blood money! whereas a bee keeper like Kai from Rivonia, can only probably do 1 a night. Please For ethical beekeepers contact the Southerns Beekeeping Association. If Kai is busy he will refer you to a registered member. aabeeremovals is operating illegally as far as I can tell as they are not registered with DAFF. I hope this disgusting excuse for a human being gets prosecuted!

True rating is MINUS 100 URGENT AWARENESS Please beware aabeeremoval in Cowley road is destroying hives through unethical bee removal which results in the death of the queen, the brood and workers by drowning in their own honey. This honey they then strain and sell for profit!!! The rest of the workers are left homeless and either wait in a ball for days on end in hope for their queen or have to create a new hive & queen. aabeeremovals and others have destroyed countless swarms in this way. This is not only immoral, it is helping to destroy the very creatures who through pollination, provide our all our food! Please choose ethically. You pay the same, but the beekeeper can only come in the evening since that is when ALL the bees are in the hive and it takes a bot of time. This way they can only do a limited number of removals per night, whereas unethical removals take in their ****** money hand over fist! Once they have the hive, it takes them a minute to chuck the entire comb into a bucket! If the chairman of bee keepers association is busy, he passes you on to other ethical beekeepers in your area. Please contact Southerns Bee Keeping Association online

This outfit supposedly sell raw honey, and supposed to be open for business daily from 8am to 6pm. However last week and this week I went to see them around 4pm and they were shut. They answer phones but don't answer bell door. Bad for business. Unreliable. Not serious. Go somewhere else.

AA Bee removals called out on 17th August 2018 to remove bees. Bees returned again in September, and on the 26th September AA Bee removals came out again, and we were told that a new hive had moved in. We were charged again, and told that the chimney needed to be covered after 7 days. AA Bee removals do not cover chimneys which is very frustrating seeing as this seems to be part of keeping the bees away so we got someone else in to cover the chimney. Bees returned again and AA Bee removals came out on 26th September again. We were told it was a new hive that had moved in, and they would have to remove it, and that we should have the chimney covered. AA Bee removals don't do this, so they told us we would have to get someone else in 7 days after the bees were removed which we did. Bees returned again this week (5th November). After a very frustrating call to the offices of AA Bee removal, who said it was most likely another new hive, and they would come and check, but if they thought it was we would be charged again - the team came out today. The problem this time they claimed was a new hive, and that the chimney had not been properly covered. We are completely fed up with this, and if we were to continue in this vein, we would be paying AA Bee removals to remove new hives every 6 weeks. The office staff were incredibly rude, and said we were merely unlucky. We will be finding another company to help us rather than continue with this incompetence. The bee removers barely communicated, and dumped the bees they removed in the back of their bakkie, which had open windows, and bees were just flying everywhere. We certainly don't get the sense that this is a company who knows what they are doing. I will not use them again.

Thank you to Gift and Patrick who came to assist with our bee problem. Friendly and clearly very caring about bees. Thank you so much. Can really recommend them. Watch out for other people who advertise bee removals - they are mostly out to come and poison and pocket your money.
