Withholding Deposits & ******** Charges – Beware!

Do not recommend Acutts (Alet & Gary Phillips, Western Seaboard branch).

They are withholding my deposit despite: • Issuing a formal zero balance statement. • Skipping the mandatory joint exit inspection, which legally deems the property in good condition. • Attempting to charge an estimated R10,000 for cleaning, repaint, and repairs.

This matter is currently with LegalWise, PPRA, and the Rental Housing Tribunal. Tenants, beware.
