Patients left in the lurch without alternative medication. Who can help??

Ad**** ingram is one of the few manufacturers of Codeine Phosphate which many patients with short bowel syndrome use to survive. This is the only medication that assist us with slowing down our daily output and now they have just discontinued it which means that we now have to resort to using other medication that is combined with paracetamol and this can be very harmful. Who decided the fate of myself and so many others that need this medication? They are no longer producing it and pharmacies have no alternative, except for morphine or the other meds that are mixed with other ingredients but how are we suppose to operate on morphine all day??

They obviously have no concern for the patients that are now left helpless and without an appropriate replacement and no one can answer the question why or what is the plan going forward??
