Order #67552: Ordered two plants of Hydrangea paniculata - healthy plants received, currently growing well and will soon be transplanted out into the garden Ordered seven plants of Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle’ - Received weak plants with yellow leaves, probably due to lack of sun. The plants were drooping and limp, probably due to plants being underpotted and the exposed roots dried out when couriered. Contacted the nursery - offered, if needed, to repurchase @R180/plant if they could delay the courier until the plants were stronger. 1st email acknowledged and thereafter ghosted. R1,260 entirely wasted.

I bought a bunch of Adene's flowers on Sunday from a stall in SuperSpar for my mom's birthday. Two days later the flowers are half dead, falling off. I sent a WA as per the website and was only asked if I bought the flowers as a bunch, since then no other feedback, apology or even a replacement. These flowers are expensive and you would think it would last at least 2 weeks, not two days. I tried calling the farm and no answer.

I bought two Hibiscus plants online on 30 March 2025 - order #58578. After several follow ups I was told my plants will ship 8 April 2025 due to the heat experienced in Cape Town - which is utter bull. still has not shipped. No comms from these guys and they are actually very poor. I will not recommend them.

We ordered Dahlia bulbs from Adene's Flowers and encountered significant delays and poor communication. Despite repeatedly providing our Cape Town delivery address, the package was sent to our Johannesburg office. While they eventually offered to arrange a courier, the overall process was frustrating and unprofessional. Given our experience, I cannot recommend their services, especially for those in the events industry.

We placed an order with Adene's Flowers for Dahlia bulbs. We requested that we be invoiced and pay via EFT as it is our company procedure. It took two months to complete the order, after major delays when we requested additional paperwork from them. We either received no response to emails, or exceptionally slow responses. I very specifically requested that the order be sent to our premises in Cape Town, and not to our head office, I had to do this several times as I noticed on the invoice that they had stipulated our billing address (in JHB) on the invoice. I was reassured that they had noted our physical address (after sending it to them several times). The package was delivered to our Johannesburg office. We then had to arrange for a courier, at our own cost to have them sent to Cape Town. When I reached out to Adene's Flowers, I received a blase 'sorry for the inconvenience' and no further response to any of our subsequent emails. They have not made any effort to rectify the situation. Deeply disappointed in the extremely poor customer service we received and I wish I had done more research on their reputation (especially since reading the other reviews on this platform). The service most certainly does not reflect the impression they make on their very active social media profiles. I definitely not purchase from them again, and will discourage any of our industry colleagues (we are an event's company), to make use of their services.

Bought quite a few different varietals which were advertised as specific colours only to receive a complete 'lucky packet' and nothing was as it was ordered. The owner is just blasé and disinterested and full of excuses to the point that it's an absolute joke. Don't waste your money, rather support other flower farms that take their customers seriously with better value for money and/or you receive what you actually ordered.

Wish I looked here before ordering hydaengas. Ordered 25 plants last year. When they arrived I took photos and mail my concern and problems to them. Plants were small, frail and loose. Received no response. This year they started advertising again. I posted my bad experience. Now I am also blocked, noticing a pattern of customer abuse.

Very disappointed with open day at the farm - Facebook advert imp**** a variety and abundance of flowers to view and after a long drive there very little on display and very rude staff who totally ignored us or our requests just to order coffee. A total rip-off and after posting on their Facebook page instead of them apologizing they just blocked me completely so other cant see the post. Disgusting business ethics - dont visit there
