Fraud Fraud Fraud!!!!! Undeclared order
<p>Adoring Dresses undeclared my order with the DHL courier company in South Africa, which means I had to pay an additional R7000.00 ontop of my order of R8000.00 in order to get my parcel. Should I fail to do so my order would of been send off to the Goverment and this will add an additional R10.00 per day if I dont collect my order. Dealing with the Goverment and your order can be a very unpleasent experience I believe and they did no suggest this option. However I did email Adoring Dress asking for either a refund on my order will i will courier back to them OR pay the undeclared goods - which they refused. Their exact reply was: We cannot help for any unaspected inspections with the orders!!! Uggghhhh this was not an unaspected order check they checked in only 80dollars worth of order when the complete order was 660 dollars. The steal, they lie and they were dishonest.... I will never ever use or recommend this service to ANYONE if you want loose money and time, then be my guest! Do not use their service, do not trust their advert banners ext. Go somewhere else!!! very dissapointed..... :-(</p>

AdoringDress.co.za - be aware of ALL the costs
<p>AdoringDress is NOT a South African website. If you order from them you will be faced with VAT, duty and import agent's admin fee. Be warned.</p> <p>Not only that.... And a R1500 penalty from SA Customs for under reporting the value.</p> <p>My invoice from AdoringDress was for R2125. The customs declaration form was based on the Chinese supplier's invoice of $70 + $50 postage (R1649). So customs requested my invoice that shows R2125, and applied a R1500 penalty for under declaration. To have the dress delivered another R3400 is payable in VAT, duty, admin and penalty! My only option is to abandon it. It may be a dish cloth for all I know.</p> <p>There is no use trying to contact Adoring Dress. They provided a fake telephone number in their delivery advice email, and they do not respond to their website chat when there is a problem. The import agent at TNT said that they have had numerous problems with Adoring Dress and they cannot get hold of them either.</p> <p>Beware! </p>

<p>Good day</p> <p> </p> <p>i bought a wedding dress online</p> <p>the dress they show and the dress they sell is to defferent tings i aske them to costom made the dres but every ting must look the same it must just be a ball gown .when they send the dress on email it was not dhe dress at all i ask for .now they do not whant to pay back the full amount in to my account they first offer me 10 % back and now they sed they wil pay half i can not lose that money i have to buy myself another dress and do not have much time left please help this is the websites name 'AdoringDress.co.za Service' **********

Frauds - Not Worth One Star
<p>They do not respond to your emails. I tried to return my dress - emailed their "support" three times and never got a word back. Now I have an extremely cheap dress that I paid $135 for and nothing to wear to my best friend's wedding. </p>

<p>DO NOT BUY FROM THEM !!!! ITS COUNTERFEITS<br />Everything was poor ,material used is questionable ,custom duties is equivalent to the dress fee! after sale service is poor ,refunds are made difficult</p>

Fraudulent website
<p>I bought my daughter's Matric farewell dress from Adoringdress.co.za, which all look ligit. Only at the time of shipping the dress did they inform me that they are situated in Shangai and when I wanted to cancel the order, I was informed that they cannot refund me.</p> <p>The dress eventually got to South Africa and I had to pay exhorbitant duties because of all the fraud customs have with China related countries.</p> <p>Evetually after about a month I received the dress and what I ordered was not the same as what was delivered. My 5 year old niece could make a better dress than what they did. Upon enquiring, I was told I bought the dress and have to live with it and I cannot return the dress and they will only be refunding me 5% of the invoice.</p> <p>I had to then take the dress to a dress maker, and the entire dress had to be redesign because the dress was not made according to the sizes offered and the picture fo the dress. The colour and style was not the same either. Upon enquiring about this, I was told by Adoringdress that they make it as close as possible to the picture. This was not at any stage communicated to me, only when they received their money.</p> <p>They have no interest in even looking at my complaint and they are still cheating plenty customers.</p>

<p>Thanks to everybody who posted on here. I almost got suck into the amazing dresses for an unbelievable price (you know what they say; if its to good to be true!!) Luckily I decided to check on here before I started any communication with them or got to excited. </p> <p>Thanks again to everybody and I’m sorry you had such a bad experience, there are to many scams and dishonest people in this world! </p>
