Afya Health Products is very, very sick
Here's the timeline: 1. Place order and pay via Payfast - instant and irreversible payment. Order and payment unacknowledged. 2. Following week check order repeatedly - says 'Pending payment'. 3. Send email pointing to payment made. No response. 4. Inquire by email as to What's happening? No response 5. Threaten to cancel if no response is forthcoming No response. 6. Cancel order - order shows cancelled on website. No response. 7. Request refund. No response. 8. Promise review on hellopeter No response. 9. Post review on hellopeter

Weeks after I had written this deal off as a total loss, and out of the blue, I get an apologetic email from Afya claiming technical problems, now fixed.
Sure enough, a few days later the order arrives via TCG and is now in my hands.
Would I buy from them again?
Actually, I will give them another go in the future. In a previous age my products also occasionally fell short of perfection. But by making and ostentatious effort at correction of the defects I found my SA customers ever ready to forgive my shortcoming.
In this spirit I would give Afya another try when the need arises.
