I would like to lay a complaint against Dr Nabeel Moosa Orthopaedic surgeon, my niece was injured at work and she was referred to a hospital by employer, they took her to X-ray and later was referred to Dr Moosa for further assistance, he did not attend the matter to the best of his ability he just gave her medication and said that her pinky toe will heel on its on and at the point the X-ray was showing that it is broken, he send her home and it's been weeks now the whole leg has turned grey swollen and smelly, she was refered back to the hospital today, the first thing doctor said -*what are you doing here you should be at work and you are not the first person to be injured and I will no longer be attending your case* the whole qualified doctor saying that to an injured patient, I was in disbelief hearing those words, luckily you still have good doctors who still remember the oath they took in helping their patients, I'll forever be grateful to the wound cleaning department for assisting her, as a family we are scared that it might get infections whereas If doctor Moosa took this as urgent and did not undermine Amukelani Maziba we wouldn't be here today, hope you take this matter serious.

Very unhelpful nurses in the maternity ward. They let the newborn babies cry and leave them in wet clothes for hours without changing them. They are rude to visitors and make welcoming your new baby into the world a very disappointing and unpleasant experience.

I want to sincerely apologise for the email that I have written on Thursday the 24th of July 2025. I understand that my tone was very unprofessional. I want to personally apologise to Sister Vimla, the unit manager of the Surgical Ward 2. I didn't mean to personally victimize her. It was not my intention to do so. I understand that my words have caused many issues during these few days and for that I'm sorry. This has been a learning lesson to me. I hope we can

Hi. I'm a nursing student. I've just posted a review about this business and how I was treated. The post was taken down recently. I would like to sincerely apologise for the tone in which my previous email was written. I now realise that while I was trying to express how I felt, the way it came across may not have been appropriate—and for that, I am truly sorry. I don't apologise for how I felt, because my emotions were very real at the time. But I do understand that how we express those emotions, especially in professional spaces, matters deeply. I should have raised my concerns in a more appropriate and private way, and I acknowledge that. This experience has taught me a lot—not just about communication, but about growth, maturity, and navigating difficult situations in the clinical setting. I truly value the time I spent at the hospital and the lessons it’s brought me, both professionally and personally. Thank you for hearing me out.

Complaint Regarding Expired Juice Served at the Hospital I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding a recent experience I had at Lenmed Hospital. On 04 April 2025 I was served juice from the hospital kitchen, which, upon inspection, had an expired label. The expiration date on the juice was marked for May, but underneath, there was a sticker with an expiration date of April. Additionally, upon opening the juice, I noticed a strong, unpleasant odor, resembling urine, which raised my concerns about its safety and hygiene. This experience has left me deeply concerned about the level of food safety and hygiene maintained by the kitchen staff at Lenmed Hospital. I understand that patient safety is of utmost importance, and serving expired or potentially harmful products not only violates basic food safety standards but also puts patients' health at risk. As a result of consuming this juice, I am now worried about the possibility of food poisoning and the subsequent impact it may have on my health. Should I suffer any adverse health effects from this incident, I expect the hospital to take full responsibility for any medical bills, including any additional time I may need to take off work for recovery. I respectfully request an immediate investigation into this matter. I would appreciate a prompt response to clarify how such an incident occurred and to assure me that steps will be taken to prevent a recurrence. I also seek compensation for any potential health issues that may arise from this incident. Please advise on how the hospital intends to address this complaint. I look forward to your prompt response and a satisfactory resolution to this matter.
