Almost four days late, belongings arrived broken.

Sales Manager Matthew was amazing on the phone and really sold the business to me. Other than that, it was a REGRETTABLE EXPERIENCE - truly. 'Understandable delay' followed 'understandable delay', and our moving truck finally arrived THREE AND A HALF DAYS LATE, by which point we were already looking for other moving companies and were prepared to lose our deposit as we were late to start a new job at our destination. Especially frustrating was that only one-in-ten calls were answered by Ahoo Star's offices. Due to the incredible delays (three and a half days!!) in fetching our belongings, we were offered a possible reduction in cost. However, this fell away once the truck arrived at it's destination and we were told that until we pay the full amount our belongings won't be released to us. What business offers a discount, and then removes it when you are locked in? Honestly, by this point I was simply overjoyed that our belongings had arrived and paid to get them released. However, when I arrived at the house and saw how our belongings had been tossed chaotically around our house, and then saw how much of our furniture and boxes had been damaged, I decided to write a review to warn others. Unfortunately, really worth paying the extra amount and getting a reputable company. Learn from our mistake.
