I’m extremely disappointed with the way my recent issue was handled between MTN and Afrihost (Airmobile). After my device was ****** over the weekend, all I wanted to do was the right thing — open a case with SAPS. To do that, I needed my ITC number. What should have been a straightforward request turned into a frustrating back-and-forth between MTN and Afrihost (Airmobile), with each side seemingly unable to take ownership or provide clear guidance. I was passed from one support channel to another, repeatedly explaining my situation, yet no one could give me a direct answer or simply provide the ITC number I needed. There seemed to be a serious lack of coordination or partnership between the two companies, and as a paying customer, I was the one left stuck in the middle. This was already a stressful situation — dealing with a ****** device is not something anyone plans for. Instead of receiving support and urgency, I experienced delays, confusion, and a complete runaround. It honestly felt like neither company had clear processes in place to assist customers when something goes wrong. Based on this experience, I would struggle to recommend their product to anyone, especially someone who may need reliable support in a time-sensitive situation. Good service is not just about selling a product — it’s about standing by your customers when they need help the most. Unfortunately, that did not happen here.

I want to perform a port in to airmobile from mtn with great regret has fail i cant use that number any way if i try to call a robo voice pick and said the number isnt available i was yesterday with support i dont think there is real people what work there just ai with preprogram name and design to answer any thing where i think ai because that agents cant fix problem. Is not the part of there programing and create phantum ticket support what not on there support list anything preprogram if there debit order run on 1 and it fail will be auto suspension where i seen is auto if you paid money service restore instant instant Never port any number there are not bad as internet service provider have good connection i have never any downtime on my lte 5g connection and the router work like a dream but there mobile devision have short comming

I have migrated from MTN to AirMobile during May 2025 where I now have a package with data and airtime. I do get a monthly airtime allocation that I can't use. When I try to dial any number (using the allocated airtime) I immediately get a message "Call failed". I have engaged AirMobile more than 2 weeks ago and have interacted with 5 different people. Everyone so far has indicated that they are investigating it, however nobody comes forward with a proposed solution and a course of action.

However, I am deeply disappointed with the physical SIM option. Afrihost advertises a 3-hour delivery service that can be purchased at an additional cost. I opted for this service due to my urgency and inability to visit a physical store. Regrettably, the delivery failed to meet the promised timeframe. After four hours, I contacted customer support, who informed me that the delivery would not be completed until later in the day. This was particularly inconvenient, as I had to leave the premises and had paid for the 3-hour option, which was contingent upon my limited time availability. I strongly believe that AirMobile should cease its misleading advertising practices and refrain from deceiving customers by charging them for services that cannot be delivered within the advertised timeframe.

After moving across to Airmobile from Capitec Mobile they failed to mention that certain features we take for granted Don’t work on their Network. In this case price isn’t everything !!! Their MMS and USSD features DO NOT WORK ‼️‼️ This has been addressed from the beginning ( 29/03/2024 ) and still nothing been sorted out. Countless emails and service requests have largely gone through without any solution being found. In my opinion the product has been falsely advertised. Rather check before you change as the frustration isn’t worth it and price isn’t everything. ‼️‼️ UPDATE 06/12/2024 Adding further Insult to injury is the fact I recently topped up my Data with their Airmobile R30 for 1Gb deal. They Debited my Bank Account 4 times ( 4 X 30 Rand). A full week later nothing has been resolved and as a Sassa Pensioner, I’m R 90 out of Pocket. While it’s not a lot of money to some, it is to us Sassa Pensioners. Disgusting Treatment. They simply do Not care. They have lost me as a customer as soon as I eventually receive my credit. Pathetic Service from Airmobile.
