Bought a car and asked if it was ever in an accident, was told no. 6 months later take it to my mechanic for a service and told it’s been in a front smash. Shortly after bringing this to All Cars attention, only to be told they will not cancel the deal, the car lost all power while it was being driven and is now sitting in a workshop. A very expensive life lesson learnt, take a qualified mechanic to look at any second hand vehicle you are purchasing.

** This is a review for a deal that happened in 2013. Seems HelloPeter deleted my old review and I feel it's important that it remails up seeing as the current reviews on echo what happened to me back then. Here is part of what I sent to the motoring industry ombudsman: Last year April (2013) I bought a 2006 Volvo S40 2.0D from All Cars in Pinetown. About a month and a half into owning the car, I started experiencing issues of power loss whilst driving and a noise from the gearbox. I took the car to CMH Volvo in Umhlanga to have the problem diagnosed and they quoted me R35 000 to replace the gearbox and a few globe plugs. At this stage, I spent my savings on the car's deposit and was not in the position to do the necessary repairs. I then got in contact with Gary, the principal dealer of All Cars and he assured me that he would sort it out. I ended up paying R1400 to Volvo as an inspection fee and moved the car back to All Cars. Gary had someone replace the clutch and look into the power loss issue. After this was done, they released the car back to me. Over the course of the next one and a half months, the car went backwards and forwards between myself and the repair shop, they saying it is fixed and me after driving it for between 2 and 4 days, saying it is not. Then Gary decided the car must go into CMH Infinity Pinetown as he knew the workshop manager, Peter and felt that he could help. They mainly had the car till somewhere around November of last year(2013). I ended up paying them in excess of R1000 in the end as well. don't deal with these sharks.

WITHOUT PREJUDICE UPDATE on #ALLCARSPINETOWN #ALLCARSPINETOWN Apparently our vehicle is finally ready after 3 & 1/2 months. They are now demanding we go all the way to Durban to collect it at our cost. See screenshot of email. The thing is, because they have had our vehicle for more than 3 months, we have been unable to run our business so there has been no income generated and we have had to live off our business capital in order to survive. This capital is now depleted. Now we need to find/loan money in order to TRY get our business up and running again.

We bought a VW Caddy on 14th December 2018 for R200 000.00 plus an extended warranty for R11 000.00. We had to go back to Durban, from Hluhluwe, twice to have things sorted out on the Caddy. It took a week each trip. (We, therefore, had to fork out money for accommodation, transport costs, and meals). Around the 8th March 2019 our car packed up. We contacted All Cars and for two weeks All Cars messed us around as to where and who the vehicle could be repaired by in our area. Eventually, they decided to transport our vehicle down to Durban on the 22nd March 2019. To date, they are still in possession of our vehicle. They constantly give us excuses and explanations as to why it is taking so long to repair the vehicle. After 6 weeks they sent us a courtesy tin can of a car as we were having to depend on other people to fetch and carry us whenever we needed groceries, etc. We bought the caddy for business purposes and have been unable to generate income due to the fact that we do not have our vehicle. (Average R10 000.00 per month). I am so angry because I have never in my life heard of a vehicle taking so long to be repaired. I have asked them for the invoices and full report of what has been done to the vehicle, which I have yet to receive. I would like a full refund of the R211 000.00 back with interest and quite frankly, I would like to be recompensed for loss of earnings. In the almost 6 months that we have had the vehicle, we have had 6 weeks of use out of the vehicle.

Hello Peter My name is Veronica , I wrote my story about all cars regarding with the Bmw I purchased from them in September 2018,( Title of my other Review is Refund from all cars) Now I wanna add what I forgot to mention. The manager of all cars pinetown (Gary ) he is very arrogant and unapologetic , he doesn't value clients not at all, the car I bought from them I had to take it for auto vallet same month I bought it , day before I signed the contract they promised to take the car to the car wash for auto vallet only to find they were lying . The manager can't even pay the money I paid to fix the water bottle , instead he is telling me about the amount he would have paid for that water bottle, Everything about all cars is a mass , their cars have scratched , and faults , but still they show arrogancy instead of being remorsefull, I really feel sorry for people who doesn't know the condition of the all cars Vehicles& Gary the manager confirmed that 80% of their cars are painted, What kind of a dealership is that? I told Gary that if I wanted a smashed cars I know where SMD is as I used to buy cars from them , but I stopped buying smashed cars as I`ve expirienced problems after problem on cars that were involved in an accident , Only to find there is a dealership that will take me back to what I refrained to do ,I would advise any1 to buy a car from all cars , especially those are close to me.I was gonna understand if they selling their nonsense cars with a cheaper price.
