On the 29th of November I purchased some items directly from the Alpha Industries website. The order had a status of 'processing' for about two weeks and I sent an email to the company that went unanswered. A week later I then called their offices and they said they would get back to me and one of the most surprising thing was they asked me if I'd sent in the proof of payment (which was the first time I heard of it after making an online purchase).
I emailed the bank statement that showed I had made payment and a few days later, on the 18th, I got an email apologizing for the inconvenience and informing me that the item I had bought was out of stock. The email then required me to 'choose a replacement item' on the website so that my order can be processed.
This made no mention of the fact that the company offices were closing for the festive period till God knows when.
I only found this out when I went to their website that the day I recieved the email was the last day of business this year.
To this very day I wait for them to open or at least get back to me.
