I was also one of the people who bought the Samsung note 20 in October 2020 and was promised the free 32in TV, I submitted all my details and was told the TV was on its way in 6 weeks.
Over 2 moths later the TV never arrived as I did not have a TV licence, Samsung then said they are willing to get the licenses on my behalf, I signed there form and off it went again.
I received a weybill number and my TV was with the courier but the could not tell me who the courier company was, I sent emails and made 100s of calls to the Samsung altron call center "at my own cost".
I eventually got a team leader at Samsung Altron called Dimakatso herm**** who said there were changes in the department as well as no stock of TV, I said the Samsung stor is full of TV so just issue me a voucher for the R3200 and I will go get the TV myself.
Eventually there was stock and a lady called Londiwe was processing the TV licences but was awaiting the cash from Samsung to do so then Loniwe was Sick and the stories started comming.
In April I was told the TV was dispatched and would be with me in 7-14 days, it never arrived. A moth later I was told again my TV was dispatched and would be with me in 7-21 days, again 2 months later no TV.
I requested them to just send me my voucher again and again but no they would get the TV to me, in September 2021 they said the promotion had ended and they were no longer doing the TV.
Vodacom Samsung and Samsung Altron are disgusting and do not care about anyone besides their own pockets, I will never deal with Vodacom or own another Samsung product again, absolutely disgusting money grabbing companies.
