Do they still exist!
I worked for Altron Bytes people solution some years back. To get a hold of them has proven to be a nightmare. The receptionist cold transferred me twice to the HR and both times my call was ignored. The third time the receptionist provided me with a email ann.oconnel@altron.com. Which guess what does not work. All I need is a certificate of employment or an IRP5.

I worked for Altron Bytes people solution some years back. To get a hold of them has proven to be a nightmare. The receptionist cold transferred me twice to the HR and both times my call was ignored. We’ve been transferred to other company internally and Altron Digital Solutions have not yet transferred out funds from Alex forbes and there’s no communication. We’ve been waiting for Altron HR to come and communicate with us till now no progress.

Samsung TV scam from Vodacom
I put a review here on hello peter on 18th November regarding the TV promotion from Vodacom when purchasing a Samsung device. The was a gentleman who contacted me from Samsung after the review and stated they were still out of stock, it has been over a year now as a bought my phone in October 2020. Samsung stated they would get my TV Licence for me and they assured me the TV licence was paid however I have just recieved an SMS from the TV licence department stating my TV licence is still not paid. Samsung, Altron and Vodacom are total frauds, I have submitted numerous complaints and wasted time and money calling the costumer center who just give excuse after excuse. I will be taking the this matter to the Ombud as well as reporting to the consumer protector for the false advertising.

Altoron Samsung vodacom TV scam
I was also one of the people who bought the Samsung note 20 in October 2020 and was promised the free 32in TV, I submitted all my details and was told the TV was on its way in 6 weeks. Over 2 moths later the TV never arrived as I did not have a TV licence, Samsung then said they are willing to get the licenses on my behalf, I signed there form and off it went again. I received a weybill number and my TV was with the courier but the could not tell me who the courier company was, I sent emails and made 100s of calls to the Samsung altron call center "at my own cost". I eventually got a team leader at Samsung Altron called Dimakatso herm**** who said there were changes in the department as well as no stock of TV, I said the Samsung stor is full of TV so just issue me a voucher for the R3200 and I will go get the TV myself. Eventually there was stock and a lady called Londiwe was processing the TV licences but was awaiting the cash from Samsung to do so then Loniwe was Sick and the stories started comming. In April I was told the TV was dispatched and would be with me in 7-14 days, it never arrived. A moth later I was told again my TV was dispatched and would be with me in 7-21 days, again 2 months later no TV. I requested them to just send me my voucher again and again but no they would get the TV to me, in September 2021 they said the promotion had ended and they were no longer doing the TV. Vodacom Samsung and Samsung Altron are disgusting and do not care about anyone besides their own pockets, I will never deal with Vodacom or own another Samsung product again, absolutely disgusting money grabbing companies.

I worked for the Company (Vodacom campaign) in the AfterSales department for 3/4 years. In the last year fall pregnant, went on maternity leave, then came back worked for 8/9 weeks. Put in my resignation letter and served my one month notice. Everyone had just gone permanent in my department from the 1st April 2020 and I resigned on 11 months later. The companies H.R says nothing is due to me but my last salary, however I have had monies deducted every month including UIF. I really need help I know I should be getting something from them. I went back to school fulltime and need to pay back the monies borrowed to pay for REGISTERNG. PLEASE HELP.

Unfair dismissal and toxic work environment
Altron is a very toxic work environment, that undervalues its employees. The management is horrible and they bully employers for speaking up or even asking questions. The company is greedy and underpays and if that is not enough they even steal from salaries. There is no accountability with management just a set of bullies who cannot even provide adequate help when needed. This company should be looked into as a lot s wrong. Sadly, this is the company that SASSA chose to use for their SRD call center.

HORRENDES SERVICE FROM STAFF AND MANAGEMENT
I have never ever in my life received such horrible service as this, I was promised that my fibre line will be fixed this morning, I spent how many hours on calls and emails only for you to delete them, I have the proof, I have not received any phone calls, nothing, I am treated like a street dog, News 24 said that they will assist me with an article about the horrible service I received- I even emailed all the managers and I get treated like this, no ways, this will go viral I promise you

We've just being re-retrenched Altron / Bytes Randburg( Vodacom campaign) one should see our Tax & Salaries, Disgusting & feel that we've been taken for ride & everyone is complaining, can someone @Bytes do something about such issues asap before it's too late
